- We are finally here ! The first episode of BMNM with Akane is here for a lot of fun and food ! And as a bonus, a cover especially made for this episode by @WavePotter himself.
This series is based on the 20-minute regular radio show by Miku Kobato and Saiki on Nippon Broadcasting System, a sister company of their label Pony Canyon.
This episode is based from the episode 11 of BAND-MAID Nippon aired from 21:00 to 21:20 on February 2, 2022 JST.

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate what a uniquely awesome thing Ohrenje et al have created here? I mean, lots of bands have dedicated reacters and cover players, lots of great overseas content motivates people to make fan art and fan translations. But this video could not exist without ALL of those things coming together in just the right way. I can't think of any other cultural phenomena of any medium or genre whose various aspects and layers all mix and fold in and feed off each other to create something new and rich and entertaining, like these BMNM videos. We Maidiacs really have something unusual and special going on, and I just want to express my boundless appreciation for all the passion and creativity and effort that clearly went into this. Thank you, Ohrenje and Wave and everyone.

I always laugh when I hear Akane's "I'm the drums by Akane of Band-Maid" introduction. In my opinion the drummer is the heartbeat of a band, so I'm a big fan of anyone who makes a lot of noise with big sticks. And when they are as awesome and funny as our banana loving human gorilla that's a bonus :)
A really big thank you to all involved! I know a lot of work goes into these, but they are so much fun to watch! And Wave did a great job too!
So glad you guys did this classic BMN episode! And thanks for pushing through, Wave, it was definitely worth the effort, especially with the different angles that we ordinarily wouldn't see. When you hear and see Akane's Drumming clearly, you quickly come to realize that she is not just some kind of musical motor: she adds an independent voice that works in counterpoint to the other lines.

THis is amazing! Thanks for bringing the radio show alive - esp for us non-Japanese speakers. Akane is so adorable and just goofy enough to be even more adorable (the real one - Drums by Akane).
Yoruta's adaptations of the Band-Maid ladies are beautiful ... I wish Kanami and Misa would have appeared as well. Great work.

Yes, the Akane episode is finally here, and it does not disappoint! I'm actually sad that there will only be 2 more Akane episodes, but I am so looking forward to them. The No God drum cover by Wave was absolutely fantastic. This is hands down my favorite Band-Maid Nippon Manga episode. Thanks for all the work Ohrenje. That Cluppo transition was very slick btw. I love your eye for details 😀

This episode certainly lived up to its hype! 🥰 The graphics and animations are again and again impressive to me and simply adorable. It's just so much more fun than 'just' hearing the voices of the ladies. And hats off to @Wave Potter for his drum cover of 'No God'. I can well imagine that he regretted it the moment he agreed to it. :) But the result is excellent, in my opinion. 🙏🏻

That was just great, thanks to everyone involved who put this together. I'd forgotten just how funny that episode was first time around. Akane is hilarious. Awesome drum cover too, it makes you realize just how incredibly talented Akane is to not only play the drum parts but write them too. Amazing.

Great job Wave! You dug deep and pulled it off! Showing how much you have learned from, and taken inspiration from, all the awesome Japanese Female Drummers! Two years ago, when you almost felt like giving up, you probably never would have even attempted this. It must feel great to know you can cover such a difficult song that not many drummers could probably pull off! I'm sure the Akane's and YOYOKA's also love that they have been able to inspire your drumming to new personal heights! But sorry man, I still think Akane and YOYOKA are both cuter than you!

Well, I mean to say, HOLY CRAP! Great job needless to say Ohrenje and thank you for all of the work it took. On this one though, Wave!!! Dude!!! Great job on this!! It was also super cool to see all of those camera angles because it goes by so fast to the ear it's sometimes hard for me to discern the double bass from the toms - and the way she alternates between toms and bass seem to sometimes be completely non-intuitive - like not just 4 sixteenth notes on the DB and another 4 on the toms, but alternating sometimes in a way that just seems like she's trying to make it harder to play. Anyway, rambling now but geez, great job by all.

Why doesn't Miku sound like Miku. is this her real voice. is the other one just a put on?
It's her real voice but sometimes she goes really high and talk as her persona. Although, she can't keep talking like that so when you listen to a more mature voice, this is her real voice.
