    Damn 225. I’m 30 days into adf and lost 10lbs. I can’t give up carbs and snacks though. I refuse. So slow and steady for me. Goal is 150, I’m 174 now 💪🏾.

      Just find something that works for you-something that YOU can sustain, then there will be no willpower to find. Intermittent Fasting is what has been working for me, and eating healthy most of the time. I never deprive myself of any foods, but being conscious of eating healthy most days.

    I follow my brother on UA-cam so positive n his journey helps me I’m on my 19th day of only watermelon I’m going to weigh myself after a full month I started at 314 my plan is to do it for 100 days but my weight lost I want to lose 100 pounds

    Restarting my fasting lost 50lbs. Kept most of it of...gained 10lbs back. Now have to lose another 50lbs.

    I do not believe in using the term “cheat day.” Never deprive yourself of what you like to eat, just eat healthy most days; but eating not so healthy items is not considered cheating.

      I am type 2 diabetic and do omad most days of the week. I am also doing the 5:2 diet, but more like 4:3. Omad is great for diabetes.

      @@Tes7000 i love this for you! my current strategy is to eat OMAD during the weekdays. vegetarian/vegan. not exactly sure what I want to do for the weekends yet lol. i should probably water fast those 2 days

      @@queencherie A water fast two days per week sounds great. My recommendation is that you do your water fasting on days when you are busiest. If you work a normal Monday through Friday type schedule, you might want to fast during the week instead of on the weekends. I have found fasting on days when I am not very busy to be extremely annoying, because I have so much more time and energy to burn through, yet it seems like my next meal is forever away.

    Congrats on the weight loss 🎉🎉. I do not have a food addiction. I did ADF for a couple of months and rolling 48hr fast .. I lost ONE pound and had major hair fallout..
    Why???? My resuts are not like the norm😢😢

      Please check your iron and b12 levels. ADF shouldn’t cause hair fall.

    So now I'm curious, do we have fasted energy at night because we don't Need as much rest??? That would be just about miraculous for me. So now i need an experiment. If you get up when you can't sleep, how long will your energy last from the little sleep you did get? And if you do it regularly what would your sleep cycle look like after a week or two?

      In my 2nd week of R72s and can't sleep for the life of me. Like I'm tired to sleep but every night between 2:40 to 3am, struggle till 4:30am then I just get up and move to a different room and read my Bible or pray and then I just stay up and go back to bed at around 9-10:30pm then same thing happens. Also when I wake up I'm itchy. So idk if I'm having like a keto rash or what. I don't have like hives but it's like random spots on my body. Just weird

      The Honorable Elijah Muhammed first wrote about it. How to Eat to Live us where he discussed it. Dr. Jason Fung writes in The Obesity Code talks about the difference between caloric deficit and nutrients sufficiency. National Institute of Health had some fasting research.

    I don’t know whether to believe all these results. I followed the routine and lose very little. I’m averaging 2-2.5kg per fortnight. Makes no sense. I lost faster when I ate. So frustrated.

      Perhaps altering your fasting protocol will help. For instance, move from
      OMAD to 16:8 or switch up to 72 hour fasts to ADF. All our bodies will respond differently. Wishing you all the best 🤍

    When i remembered back as a kid. I was riding with my uncle and cousins. I was in the middle back seat. My uncle coughed up cold and spit it out the window. The wind carried it into my open mouth. I swallowed it. After remembering that moment, i realized 1, it was disgusting and 2 i have a terrible eating problem. I can now puke on command. I plan to use that memory to help aod in my future fasting.
