America broke my heart into a million pieces. Racism & sexism won….in all my years of existence I’ve never been more scared in my life for what is to come. The few tears I shed this morning were for my brown son, the gentle giant who still gets looked at as a scary monstrosity in 2024. I let out a big cry for my LGBTQIA family and friends who are still being taunted and called slurs to this day because of who they love. These are just my thoughts, God is still very much in control but I can admit when I’m feeling uneasy 🥴.😢😢😢.
You're not alone. We're all in this together. All we need is more kindness and emotional intelligence for one another. Much love to both. Keep the hope alive. If we can get through 2016-2020, I know we can get through this too. 🙏❤
Yup after Georgia , I knew it was over. I went to “ sleep” and@6am, checked and accepted reality. Well, the good thing for V &L are in ATL, Despite GA being red red -ATL is as LIBERAL as Newyork😂😂😂
Hi im Antony from Kenya. I was literally crying when Kamala was making her concession speech. I definitely belief Americans deserve a steadfast and compassionate leader like her. I have always loved Kamala and though I'm Kenyan in kenya, i love America as my own country. It is well, and actually she's gonna run next time and I know she is going to make history. I love u guys, I love the mazelins, our boy story, Tracy James and of course V and Lo.
I'm still up and down over it. I asked my husband before he left for work this morning was he also? He said yes! I think we are about to go through something we can't imagine. We must carry on as always and hopefully our community will learn that they need us too. We must pull together more so than ever. I'm thankful Virginia remained blue but that doesn't mean a thing when we are surrounded by all this hate. I want to post a video as The Dandimier Society nears it's grand opening. The Dandimier Society is a private club for Black SGL men here in Coastal Virginia. Keep doing the good work that you both do!
