My grand daughter had endometriosis surgery three years ago, she was 21 yard old. She was in so much pain since she was 13... It was a real success, no more pain at all. She and her boyfriend (27 years old at the time) didn't want a baby soon after the surgery. Now, she and her husband are expecting a little boy for March 2023 ❤ Wishing you the best for your surgery... and your life 🙏❤
Laura, thank you for sharing your endometriosis story. It sounds like you know what's right for you at this time in your life and that's all that matters.
Having mental & physical health is the best sort of wealth there is. They're priceless. Laura, this is a great time to enjoy being free of the emotional & physical constraints you've been under. When it's time for other things-- like pregnancy & child bearing-- investigate them then. No matter the outcome, being physically healthy, & emotionally free is always awesome.
Oh, I forgot-- I enjoyed your unboxing of the White Co purchases. I imagine that the apricot, pear &... candle along with the wicks must create a very inviting, serene & peaceful atmosphere in your home.
Keeping your health journey open minded is such a good idea. Don’t worry about online detail from anyone else. Brave of you to share your journey and positive outlook. This will help others that may go through similar situations. Tons of love and thoughts for you. You will be AOK and we are thinking of you. Takeing care of yourself is the most important thing!!!
Laura, thank you for sharing your endo & laparoscopy story with us it was so nice & reassuring to watch especially to someone who has just had the op & going through the exact journey! Im always so grateful when influencers share their health journeys & are open & vulnerable as it makes you feel less alone & comforting to know others in same situation 🥰 Sending all the love & praying for a positive outcome, you can do this. Endo worriers 💪🏽💗
Thank you for sharing ❤ wish you all the best!! Your physical and mental health are priority - a baby is a blessing to care for and enjoy 😊 that time will come when you feel you are ready
Hey Laura, thank you for sharing your endo journey. I’ve been in a similar boat over the past 7 years. I had a large ovarian cyst which was drained (no help) then eventually I had to wait for an op to actually remove it. But as in the same as you, I felt pressured to habe a baby before my op. I didn’t feel physically and mentally well enough to bring a baby into the world again (my second) I wouldn’t have been fit enough so although at the time I was 36 and was panicking we did decide to wait. I had my op and I e been so much better pain free since and fhen we decided to fry again after that. I’m glad we waited. I think what I’m trying to say is it’s so hard and you have to weigh up the options but also don’t feel pressured into anything until your in the stage if your life where you feel ready xxx much love x
I had 2 unsucessful surgeries for endo. Could barely get out of bed most days. I cut out wheat and dairy from my diet and it was like a miracle occurred overnight. Now i have very few flare-up and usually only occur when I eat bad. Good luck to you and thanks for sharing!
I hope you have the best time away with your family 🏖 Don't be pressured into anything before you are ready , there's a plan for us all and it's best to just go with flow as long as you and your partner are happy that's all that matters 💕
You go away Laura and have a wonderful holiday. Do not feel pressured by anyone to have a baby, you will know when you are ready and if and when you want to take this journey. Best of luck x
Laura,I hope that your operation whenever this may be will go well. You need to do what is best for you and your partner don’t let anyone push you to what you don’t want.
You pack the cutest outfits! I love how organized you are! Have you tried using a duffle bag for your travel? I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane. I've been using this bag for months now and it is such a hack. It has a trolley sleeve feature and it fits under the seat too! makes your travel more convenient and effortless and it packs like a suitcase too!
Thank you for sharing all these personal information with us. I can only imagine how hard it is, for once to go through all the pain, and second, to be sharing it to total strangers, exposing yourself to all opinions out there. But if I may share a thought here( not advice, I don't think I'm qualified 😅). The thing about having babies is that the right time will never come. The right time never comes for anything actually. There is always something. To do, to be, to experience. So should you decide you don't want a baby, that is totally fine. You don't have to fit into anyone's pattern, that doesn't make you selfish, or any other crapp people might drop on you. But if you do want one, even if it's later in life, and the doctors advice you to have one ASAP, listen to the doctors. Maybe there isnt a right time for something, but there is timing. And if you miss this opportunity, I think you'll have regrets down the line. Because, in all honesty, I never heard anyone say "oh, I'm so sorry I had this baby", but I have herd "I'm so sorry I didn't". And I'm not sure our lives are made of chapters, like well defined stories that have a beginning and an ending. It's all a big mess of things, tangled up together, meaningless when seen up close, but when taking a step back and seeing the bigger picture, it all comes into view. Again, sorry if this is too much 😂 you certainly don't expect life advice with a vlog, but I thought I might share this with you sincer I've seen it happen one too many times around me. And it might not be my personal experience, but life's too short to experience everything. One must learn from other people's experiences too. Lots of love to you 🤗 Also I have a cockapoo too. A black boy called Arlo. I flew him all the way from London 6 years ago ❤
Hey Laura, endometriosis is an inflammatory condition caused by a hormonal imbalance and can be healed naturally. Synthetic hormone medications can cause negative side effects and only suppress the symptoms in the shorter term, while surgery is not a long term solution because until the root cause is addressed the endo is likely to keep growing back so that might be why the doctors are advising you to get pregnant after the op as the endo can return again in the future. Look into reducing estrogen and increasing progesterone naturally with an organic anti-inflammatory diet and lifestyle changes including stress management and better sleep. Plastic, toxic chemicals in house hold cleaning & beauty products and dairy are some of the biggest sources of excess estrogen in the body and should be avoided. Some of the clean beauty brands I love are bare minerals, tropic skincare, neom, faith in nature & dr bronners (I love the white company, however their candles, like most main stream brands, are made from paraffin wax and synthetic fragrances which are highly toxic therefore I only buy neom candles made with naturally derived wax and essential oils). The body is self healing in the right environment- detoxing your body and home is important to begin the healing process. Also, boosting your immune system with vitamin C & D is important plus minerals like magnesium. There’s loads of great content here on UA-cam about balancing hormones and healing endo naturally. I hope this helps x
Hey I also have endo and have done everything and anything you can think of and research and science has shown that endo CANNOT be cured be it naturally or medically. Sure it can be controlled but not cured so id be careful with the words you choose because as someone with Endo hearing “if you eat better you can cure your endo or if you do blah blah you can…” it’s honestly frustrating and infuriating
I totally agree about all these candles being toxic! Also, if you have pets you need to be careful of what you burn indoors! I now only buy non toxic candles and products :)
Happy and safe Journey dear Laura I really love your vlogs so so much you inspired me so so much and I wish you reach 50K Subscribers very very soon!💕☺️✨
Someone mentioned inflamation as cause of it, and hormone imbalances. Barley grass powder (organic, on amazon from LifeStream New Zealand) is known to balance hormones. I took Mirena out put in at start of perimenopause, and took barley grass powder in bottled water first thing every morning, and had no brain fogm irritability and very few here and there hot flushes or night sweats, as opose to before taking the barley grass. Also my hunger and feeling full signal hormones were out of wack, making me hungry 24/7 and never feeling full. Barley grass has sorted that hormonal imbalance too. Look it up.
Get Well soon. Don't worry you must do what u want. Everybody are always sure what is the best for the others. Much love (i hope you understand my english.. i'm from lugano swiss italian part)
First of all Laura, you are so beautiful, you can tell you have such a beautiful heart, I am as old as your mother, but I love your fashion and your home. dont worry about the baby thing, I was 37 when I had my beautiful baby boy. I am also British but live here in LA but will be coming home to UK soon I hope. I had many holidays in Greece and loved them all have a wonderful rest dear. I am praying for you surgery, I am sure you will be finexx Take care xx
Don’t let ANYONE pressure you on having a baby . A baby changes your live 360 , so you have to be very ready . They will be other operations , new ones over the years . Like now when you are ready they will be more inventions or you deal with it on that time. Don’t have a baby if you don’t want to .
Hi Laura, thank you for sharing with us. I cannot believe the Drs are pressuring you into having a baby now, that’s ridiculous! Do what is right for you and Tom, nobody else. X
Dear Laura, if one is not strong mentaly and emotionaly to take on what motherhood is about and then has medical world putting pressure to become parent, it is horrific situation to be in, but Id say doctors are so detached from patients and their needs and lives that all they know how to do is cite "dry medical advice". You first need to be free from pain to get a breathing space to get to a mental place where you can reconsider how healthy you are overall and see if u r ready for motherhood. I am sure they can keep an eye frequently on how fast the tissue is regrowing and if it took years to get to this stage, perhaps it won't get this bad in one year time. One year is a lot and a little at the same time, but enough to rethink it all over. Wishing you the best of luck with operation. 🤞🤗😊
Doctors shouldn’t put so much pressure on women over 30 to have children. Women a lot older are having children successfully without any problems. Please don’t feel pressured, what is right for you is right for you. Please do more videos on endometriosis as I’ve recently been diagnosed but like you don’t read/research too much on it as I’m scared what I might find and I’m 32. All the best with your journey lovely ☺️ ✨
Sending good luck for your op 🍀 please talk to your friends and family if you are worried or you can even refer yourself for free counselling on the NHS called IAPT
It’s really frustrating and wrong that the doctors are putting pressure on you to have a child when you are not ready. Making you aware of the realities around the impact of endo on fertility is fine, but repeatedly pressuring you to consider a child when you’ve told them it’s not the right time is just extremely typical of how the NHS (and health systems generally) treat women. Sorry you’ve had to deal with this Laura. ❤
I believe you should consider the baby along with this disease and once you get into your 30’s more women struggle with conceiving and the quality of their eggs. My son and daughter in law waited til their mid 30’s then have struggled with IVF even though there was nothing wrong with them. Now at 42 and 44 and 3 years in the adoption process they were blessed with a newborn baby girl. We are so thrilled. I think you having a further discussion with an infertility Doctor and seeing what waiting looks like for your future. Wishing you the best of luck❤️❤️

100%. Inflammation is the root and key here. Diet free from highly processed food, sugars is the biggest step towards healing.
