Very ingenious idea! I have a goat Rescue and due to my financial status i have to really hit the thought box in order to build things that the goats need. I could absolutely use a light like the one you built, thank you so much for sharing...every little bit of shared knowledge helps. God bless you and yours sir! Nice job, great idea! I’ve recently started using the 5V version strips with a USB adapter for my drill batteries. I’ve got the 8’x14’ hub, very happy with the run time. Plus the extra USB in the adapter can be used to charge phones up.
Those led don’t pull much power. It’s the battery your using that makes the run time so low. I run regular 50watt dc bulbs while fishing and they pull a lot more power than leds and they last all night long on a deep cycle battery.
If you used a smaller section of led rope would it extend the life of the battery? My hub shelter is pretty small and I would like something that I could run for about 5 hours.
to run these led strips permanently on 12V you need a descent heatsink! It will work like this for a while, esp. on a weak battery but the lifetime of the leds will be much less than with a proper heatsink! They are ment to be fixed on an aluminium profile to get the heat dissipated! I guess if you run this on 15 V for a longer period the platic bottle will melt down :-)
richardnanis Could probably wrap the bottle in aluminum sheet then put the lights on that. Also since it’s a bottle you could keep ice water inside and crank it up to 20 volts lol, just replace the ice occasionally
Please make video that how to make side lamp with led 12v light please make video I love yours video It is interesing Iam 12 year old kid and My hobby is to make electric thing I make many light in my home so and I also make drill machine please make video please

Excellent idea and demonstration for lighting a hub shelter.
Just got done making my own! Such an awesome idea
Thanks
Such a cool idea I had to put it on Facebook and we'll be putting the link to this video on a few of the posts

How long does it last, how many hours?
That is a great idea..would be a great way to light up the river bank at night while fishing for flatheads
yeah , I plan on using mine during the summer for sure!
Awesome idea! Thanks Darren!
Thanks Bryan
good idea
add a small solar panel to the battery with a charge controller and you would be good to go for as long as you need!
Also the warmer LEDs are not so blue and easier on the eyes

Well done you! :-) I'll try this to light up my old shed! :-)

Could just put a 3S lipo inside the bottle and make it more portable.
not stupid at all, good idea.
Thanks for the info !Very interesting !
Thanks for watching

its like a personal moon !!!
Cool light. Secure the hook with hot-glue.
niiiice.
Right back at ya.
Great video. Don't you have to use a resistor to control the current?
great idea my man
Did you make the garage lights or buy them?? Can we get a link......thanks.
I order a set of light and they won’t light connecting them to my fish finder battery.
great job
Good job
Park the truck close and hook her up to the truck! Could go direct to the battery, or go to your trailer plug in.
Yeah that's what I was thinking too.
Clever design! Could come in handy for multiple uses. I should make one to keep in the truck for emergencies.
Great Idea...................
Thanks for watching Grant

so it's already built in with LED driver circuit ??
Nice. How have the sturgeon been biting for you lately?
It's been pretty good. We were just out last night and caught 6.
Nice! Heading to Bayport tomorrow, hopefully I can find them.
Nice! I didnt know you had a channel
Thanks for watching
not bad
That is a great idea! I will have to try something similar in my Kayak. BTW check your UA-cam messages if you can? I asked an important question haha!
Thanks, I'll check my messages and get back to you.
Thumbs down for saying UM twice in 30 seconds.
