Hi! We are Heather, Bradey, Alexa and Chloe.
We are raising our kids to face their fears, to step outside of their comfort zones and to try new things. Family travel is the best way we know how to do this.
We want to inspire others to travel with an open mind and to see that it is completely possible to travel and fly with kids! Traveling is one of the best things we have ever done to strengthen our family, and to open up our minds about how big this world is.
Thanks for following along!

REINDEER!! I think it’s time to drop everything, move to Finland and open a reindeer sanctuary! Who’s with me! 😂
You guys really need to come here when its summer. Its going to be so awesome. 24h sun and all that.
@@waffen80 yeah it was like 30°c qLast summer
. Juu oli niinku 30°c viime kesä ä
Would love to experience the summer there....but the winter is just so magical in lapland 👌🎅🇫🇮
As a Finnish person born and living in southern Finland, this is about as exotic to me as it is to American tourists.
Joo on. Haluisin nii paljon käydä Rovaniemellä :Dd
I don't know man, looks like outside to me.
Where do you live? Helsinki?...
There's even a guy who dresses as santa in town, there's no pet reindeer, but there's veda, the pony.
Reindeers are cute until you are driving 120km/h while snowing and you see a pack of reindeers standing on the road. Cute is not the first thing that comes to mind
But hey, if you hit em, you had too much speed for the conditions.
You and I, together with everybody ergo live in Lapland know that there are no roads in Finland where you're allowed to drive 120 in winter. Maybe some small sections of highway around the bigger cities, but it's 100 and 80 throughout Lapland.
If you're driving 120 km/h when it's snowing you're practically asking for a darwin award
It's fun to watch that when you guys looks love and enjoy Finnish winter. I live in Rovaniemi and that is just normal, almost boring, life to me. But I can understund that at foreigns want travel in here. I lived some time South of Finland but then my brains start working avain and I move Back to Lappland. This is best place to live for me. Hope you guys enjoying your's trio in Jere 😊👍
Oh amazing! Rovaniemi seems like the perfect place to live!! Next time we come we want to grab a cabin for a month or so to really experience local life!! Very jealous of where you live!!
I was curious to see where the next location will be.. I'm really happy it is Finlanddd! I wanted to see you guys travel Finland so bad :D
Oh amazing!! And thanks!! Lots of Finland videos coming with a few others out already :)
Ok here's a lovely tip for anyone abroad: wear mittens instead of gloves. Gloves are too cold for anything below -10'C degrees. I wear mittens when it it goes below zero. Thermal mittens are great for very cold temperatures. If it goes below -20 then you can add gloves under those muttens as well.
Lovely greetings from Finland! I hope you had a good experience.
Merry Christmas!
As a resident of Rovaniemi, this was fun to watch. It's one thing to look at the activities offered to tourists as someone who lives here all year round, but it was completely different to see these experiences actually through your eyes. I must watch your other videos as well :)
Ok now I’m officially jealous! I seriously think you guys found a slice of heaven on earth. What gorgeous memories for your family, the girls squeals of delight are music to my ears. Pure happiness 💜 🎄
We have been talking non stop about how amazing this place was and how we need to move here permanently 😂
Such a special place! Thank you!!!
It is great that you went north of Finland because here in south Finland all the snow we had melted but more comes soon
Tänään vuoden pimein päivä pohjoisella pallonpuoliskolla. Hyvää Joulua kaikille.🎅🎅
If you go a couple of miles outside the city you’ll see these kings quite frequently. I remember one morning when we were driving home from Göteborg and a raindeer ran along side our car on the road. They are so incredibly beautiful.
6:53 Oh no crowd of people!! Why do they have to come?!! It’s nice to have ALL the place you go all for yourselves.
Well, if a person is unvaccinated, it's safe to social distance.
Greetings to the joyful family from Turkey, you are loved
What a beautiful experience for your family and especially for the girls .. thank you for sharing
It's a common mistake to refer horned reindeers in wintertime as he/him, but they are all actually females. Males drop their horns every november and grow new ones super-fast next year. Other cervids don't have horned females.
I think this is great. Kids will have many amazing memories from these travels
What a delightfully happy video! Great job!!!!!
You have invented a funny sounding way to say Rovaniemi 😆
I am not sure how to describe what makes it so funny, but it sounds nicely different and alien.
You want to live in lapland? Wait when summer comes and you experience the moskitoes and blackflies ;). We have a few of them here! Great video!
Also the sun never going down is quite excotic for most. And so beautiful.
Saariselkä is magical place to visit in Finland, if you want to see northern lights etc :) It's about 257 km north from Rovaniemi. Nice to see your family enjoy your vacation in Finland :)
You should visit Pyhä-Luosto Tunturi there is also two skiing resorts
Awesome place. Great footage 👌
Great family 😊
Being there is just so magical!!
Hope everybody gets to visit there. 👍
Love from India ❤
Nice to see you guys having so much fun in my home country! Reindeer are wonderful, but I hate the cold and dark. Also, not a fan of snow, as I just need to keep shoveling it away. If I could stay at home on snowy days, I would probably like it better, but it just gets in the way and people still expect you to be at work same time as always, so snow is pretty much a nuisance to me, little else😄👍🏻
Sizleri seviyorum..mutlu aile Turkiyeden selamlar..dinimiz ayrı olsada kardeş gibiyiz..kendinize iyi bakın ALLAH SİZİ KORUSUM
❤️
This is so awesome! Greetings from Rovaniemi! =)
Its so nice to see how much all of you enjoy experiencing things that are every day stuff for us finns :)
I'm jealous that this is every day stuff for you! Where's the line to sign up to become Finnish!? hahahaha
To be honest, taking a reindeer to a walk is NOT everyday stuff for all of us Finns. :) Nice joke, though.
@@petrinisumaa4759 Maybe not for you Petri, but you can't be sure if ppl you don't know does :)
@@TheNismo777 Heh. True enough. But I did say that that experience is not usual to ALL of us. I think that is still correct ;)
But I need to add this: I love seeing how the kids enjoy winter and seeing all these new things that are new to them. That really brings a big smile on my face.
Greetings from Tampere Finland :) it was nice to see you enjoyed your time in lapland :) have a good new year for whole family!
This was so good! Greetings from Oulu! :)
you need to go moomin valley in NAANTALI
I have been to Finland but was there in summer.
My uncle has a reindeer farm near Rovaniemi, he has around 500 reindeer.
It was 79 over new years here lol my husband really wants to go to Finland in 2024 or 2025 for our anniversary
Merry Christmas from Iraq 🇮🇶 ❤️
Fun to see your reactions to what is considered normal & everyday here for Finnoys :) Thank you for #visitfinland
santa reindeers are so cute
Fantastic video. Thanks.
آتمنى السعادة للجميع أغنياء وفقراء
This is so funny to whatch as finland guy because i can almost do this at home
Did you learn anything about the indigenous Sami people who do most of the reindeer herding in Finland?
Hi everyone
😂 The intro : The scream rolling in the snow was a clear giveaway that you weren't Finnish.. 😂❤️
Greetings from ylivieska. It's a pretty small city but it's nice.
Fun fact: In lapland there are more reindeers than people!
Hi did you book accommodation in the village? Thanks
❤
Great, wonderful
Thank you so much!!
My father is actually a ”reindeer farmer” as you call it and I can even name them
Noeli orda geçirmek sizin için çok güzel olur😍
❤️
Nice👍Did you know we eat reindeers meat. Itse delicious 😋
Yes, Bradey has tried it in Iceland, it says it was very good! But he feels bad now after meeting such cute reindeer haha
👍☃️🎄🎇🙋 happy birthday
I don’t skip ads for support
Great video
Türkiyeden ve insanlarından memnun kaldınız mı? Biz ülkece sizleri çok sevdik☺️
Hi nice videos❤
they are so cute
🎅🎅🎅
Wow i am jealous while i am happy for you. Are there any good tips for mortals like us about how to finance for these worlwide trips?
Hey there! We sold our home and everything we own to finance a year long trip. Working on extending it if possible :)
4:46
That might not be the best of ideas.
There's a shortage of that moss that you where feeding them.
In Russia it's pretty much all gone.
In Norway where I live the amounts is falling, and the goverment keeps having to slash the permitted number of raindeers allowed to hold in order to avoid overgrassing.
I'm not sure about Finland and Sweden, but I doubt that the situation is much better there.
Here in Norway we *do* have more of the moss and litchen in question further south in the country, but only in nature reserves.
So no legal raindeer herding there.
Besides, that's where our *wild* raindeers live.
One task. Spot local and learn how to pronounce sauna correctly 🙂👊
Harikasiniz 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Bruh Ive visited Rovaniemi like 5 times a year for 18 years and Ive never even heard of this
Oh amazing!! Very jealous! And you have to give it a try! Amazing experience
😍🥰🎄
Can you share the accommodation details,
There’s a link in the description of our last video! The video just before this shows the house better also :)
TÜRKİYE den selamlar
Muhteşem 4 lü 👍👍👍👍
Ro-van-nie-mi. :)
So hard for us to pronounce 😂
We will get better!
@@RaisingVoyagers No worries, if I tried to say Massachusetts they would have to do surgery to fix my tongue. :)
Actually only one n... : Ro-va-nie-mi :) Looks so pretty, though the town has a bit gloomy history. It was burnt 100% down by the Germans in the WW2, that's the reason no old historic buildings left. I used to visit some relatives there as a kid, the older folk still remembered how the civilians had to escape across the border to Sweden.
@@mikrokupu Se n on pitkä n, se ei ole Rova niemi. Vaan Rovan niemi.
@@js0988 Tämä selvä, tosin en usko että turisteille relevanttia ;)
we already missing you gays in turkey. hope you wıll have good time where ever you are....

😍👍💞
"atempting to be Finnish" -walks into a sauna with more clothes than most finns i know have outside...
Reindeers eat lichen not moss.
What is the taste of a reindeer meat like?????
like a meat
2:22 well I think Finland and in general nordic countries are currently best places to live and raise a family. But only Sweden is not realy that good place if you ask me. But Finland, Norway and Denmark are good places to live.
If someone realy wants to know why I think Sweden is not that good place, well first that country is poticily bit weird, and that country is bit racist towards old people, my Great grandmom got killed intentionally by Swedish Hospital.
.
Camels everywhere
Not here, only reindeer and the occasional moose :)
@@RaisingVoyagers that's bad. I cant live without camels
Voi Yusuf raasu ei kyl pärjäis pohjosessa.
@Snowstorm You broke the whole magic
and people pays to sick themselves for THIS ? xD XD You are SO tricked
And there are so many idiots up here who wants to hunt these magnificent creatures just to hang their horns up. I’ve never understood that. If you hunt, hunt for the right reason (for food) and not just to kill animals.
They are basically glorified cattle. The only ones that hunt raindeer are theit owners and wolverines.
