Thanks for all the videos, very informative. Looking around for my first sailboat and from your posts you have me interested O'Day 28's. The topping is like me you are an i3 owner. Keep up the good work. H. Jax, Fl.
We went to the show on Saturday. I didn’t get to go on the island packet so thanks for showing that. It’s a beautiful boat inside. I had the same reaction as you did on the big cats. Amazed at how big the boom and the stays were. I think the Benatau is so creaky because of all the composite material. There is just something about them that is so attractive though. I was blown away at the craftsmanship in that house boat too. As soon as I walked into it I was like, this must be an older boat because it is all real wood inside even the flooring. I think it was a ‘91. The broker there said all the woodwork was milled from a single 100 year old tree. I think he said Brazilian cherry or something.
new subscriber and a future sail boat owner... I plan to watch all your videos from the beginning starting with Knot Enough. i plan to buy something that can be trailered and repairs can be made at my home
I know... I can't believe Susy even left the house. I would want the Island Packet or the Leopard 45! I'll have to settle for my little old 1985 O'day 28.
Sorry just an after thought I had friends that owned a 37' Tartan and I saild the out islands with them coming back to Nassau from Allen's k 20 to 25 not wind she's 10 to 12 ft broad reach making eight knots never took so much as a drop of spray over the bow just sayin food for thought
Nice to look at and get some ideas as too your future vessel that said like any other depreciating asset unless you're just unbelievably wealthy purchasing new makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. But again it makes a nice jumping off point for your next adventure
If you’re gonna dream, dream big. That 45 foot cat is definitely a money making charter boat. Very nice!!!!
Every time people go to boat shows, my mouth start watering. 🙂
Fantastic looking boats. Unfortunely, you can not have what you want but you can wish
for it. nice vedio.
Gerard.

Wow, good to know... it was "only" $300 and looked new for a 1984 boat!
Catalina makes one of if not the best hull. I saw you were kind of partial to the "Bend and Tow." LOL!
Bend and Tow, that's funny. They do make good looking boats, but yea...
that dufour is sweet!
one day, a catamaran for me.. love them.
Great vid guys
Great tour and commentary. Like I was there! Hey, you pulled a Holmes! The video just ended! 😀
Yes, like all his videos!
The Beneteau and Jeanneau interiors have an IKEA look to them. I definitely think the Catalina would be the way to go.
100% agree.
I think you guys should sell the house, splurge for the Beneteau and live/work on that

Thanks! You have the right idea! Welcome Aboard!
Remember, sailors will keep buying a bigger and bigger boat, until they finally go broke. 😂😂
18:35 He's doing roll tacks.
hatteras are built like tanks...their tough.
Hard to believe how cold the St Pete boat show was..lol. I missed it this year so thanks for the video. So which one did you put a deposit on? 🤔

Do you know what Catamaran was the one you had a picture of next to one of the big boats you where on? the time stamp is 16:56?
no and I just looked again and can't see any info, sorry. It looks very sleek and modern.
So, did you come home with another boat?
heck no... out of our price range... er... maybe if we were insane we could sell it all and do it, but for now we'll keep the O'day 28!
I would love to have your 28’ footer. You guys did a great job fixing her up. Keep the videos coming.
What was the price for the last boat ???
