The reason theres chanting, well from what I've heard is because the composer saw the broadcasts of the super finale and wanted to create that feeling so he made chanting and backups to the music. You can hear more if you look up the movie version of the movie soundtracks for both gogeta and kakarot

Honestly when I heard the songs in the movie for some I was thinking. “This is sorta weird how they were saying the names of the people fighting over and over.” And now I love them
Sorta invokes the mental image of a crowd cheering the contestants in an arena.
i heard the songs on youtube before i saw the movie and i thought it was weird aswell. But while watching the movie it just clicked and i eventually really liked it
