I love this bossfight so much. I loved it so much I learned to speed run it. And 2 years ago I got 10min 37sec. That day I never thought sub 10 was possible, then saw the 9min 57sec and was blown away. Just some info, if meph ever smashes during the soul phase, it’s a restart. if you miss a soul, restart. If you get extra fireball attacks during the first time phases, restart, because you get less time on the circles.
You'd actually be surprised how many people have beat this boss. Yea it's hard but there's still so many good players who are always helping people conquer it 💯
It's crazy to think 0.1% have ever fought him and only half of that 01% have actually beaten him. I fight him on a daily basis and I have beaten him hundreds of times You know you are one of the best when you can get on this game and solo him on a daily. And to the people that still play this master piece. That's completely underrated and fight him. Still, you have my respect. You are the goat. Because, in my opinion, this is the best Call of Duty zombies experience we have ever gotten. If you're a hardcore zombie fan like myself. This game offers the best Easter egg rewards and has the most epic boss battle. This franchise has ever seen. Only the real hardcore fans are still fighting this guy. 7 years later, it's too bad. All these Tray Ark fan boys don't know what they missed out on.

Congrats on beating the ultimate fight. Important correction: You don't have to pay to unlock the mauler sentinel, you can craft it with salvage and you earn salvage by opening crates
IW in general was such an underrated game. Great campaign, good zombies, decent multiplayer, and even if you had the season pass you got most of the dlc weapons other than a few. I need to revisit it lmao
lex, youll never see this but the common orange cryptids are called scouts blue teleporting ones are phantoms and the last two blue cryptids in the Beast boss fight are mammoths
Not only was this the best boss fight in COD Zombies history, but the entirety of IW Zombies had the best boss fights in any game. Really, for me, the only boss fight that's in the same tier as an IW boss fight is Ancient Evil's. Other than that, they killed it in this department. If y'all didn't play IWZ, go buy it and play it now. Worth your time and money.
Spaceland, attack had really great boss fights, rave Shaolin are also great just a few issues, rave it’s more about collecting souls than interacting with the boss himself, same with Shaolin it’s more or less just challenges . And beast I can’t even count as a boss fight it was so bad
You don't really need the Mauler Sentinel at all as I found out. In fact, I actually beat it with the basic Atlas, and it's DPS is actually higher, but it has less ammo obviously.

Only beat this dude in boss fight mode. Think I got close through beast from beyond but I stopped playing the map after finally finding a good team. Boss fight mode took me about 2 weeks to a month. About as long as it took me to beat Mein Leben in Wolfenstein it was super tough for me.
I finally beat him. It's actually easy once you master his attacks and know exactly what's coming. The only hard part is the end where you have to shoot him to be able to activate the talismans. Other than that, easy
Could you agree that blood of the dead was mostly ruined because afterlife was tied to the shield. If blood was ported to bo3 the shield would still be my problem with the map.
To those new long as you beast 2 cryptids boss you have dcut. Just got to go to spaceland pack and put a film in it. The super ee only gives you willard character for spaceland and a exclusive camo
This boss and the beast from beyond boss are pretty consistent with just a fully upgraded Base VPR and Kendall's with some good card set up I refuse pay to win 🤣

My first time beating this boss was fucking hell and then my friend begged me to beat it again just so you could get directors cut and I just couldn’t refuse luckily I wasn’t the person doing all the work that time but that doesn’t mean it still wasn’t hard as fuck the second time we had to do it twice because 2 people kept messing up
Can you do a Black Ops 2 Grief video with the other zombies UA-camrs? Grief is the best mode in zombies and its impossible trying to get into a match nowadays (partly because everyone hacks)
The reason Destiny bosses are challenging with a full team is because they are made for a full team. CoD zombies bosses aren't challenging because they need to be soloable too. Honestly, fuck soloable EEs.

EEs aren't supposed to be a fun side activity that you can do on your own; they're supposed to be the main objective of the map that pushes the story forward, and even at the most basic level it doesn't make sense that one character would be doing it on their own. Like in BO3 maps, what sense does it make that only Takeo or Dempsey or whoever is present? All four characters are necessary for the story, so they should be necessary for the mechanics. But as I said, that's just the most basic level of it. There's also just the fact that if it's possible to do with less people then the EE will have less to do and be less exciting. If you require more people then the puzzles can be more complex and entertaining. For example: Der Eisendrache's Keeper soul box vs Buried's shooting gallery step - which one is a better EE step, be honest. At the very least EEs should not be catered to being soloable and it should be more challenging to solo it maybe even requiring some in depth game knowledge to cheese certain steps or something like emping the lamps in Tranzit. Fuck soloable EEs.
I feel bad for everyone who wrote off IW and never did this, finally beating it was easily one of the best experiences I've had in any zombies game.

Which can be a grind, but it's DEFINITELY worth it
you can also earn salvage by doing the weekly challenges, generally rewards you with either 250 or 500 salvage, it is quite a slow earning rate tho.

I’ve gotten too the final boss fight 5 or so times made it the final step multiple times and died I still haven’t completed it
Yeah took me and a group of people and 2 of them already had the dc and it took us about 4 months to beat it

IW has a GOATED. campaign, a pretty solid Zombie mode (especially comparing with what we have today) and MP was just ehh.
