The kid is a young dancer (Djino Grimaudo), I guess MHD wanted to give him a platform to showcase his talent The song is basically about his musical success and the fact that people have been supportive - The chorus goes : Mama said "Bravo my son", but at the end he talks a little bit about the downside of the industry even though the overall message in the lyrics is positive. The video was shot in Marseille, hence the amazing weather :)
