You were hilarious about the rice 😂😂😂. Rinsing rice removes excess starch and any toxins (arsenic) and dirt attached. Put it in a large bowl and cover completely with water. Let it sit then drain. Repeat until water drained is clear. All that is totally optional though. I’m a healthy 75 year old and when I use to cook, I never rinsed my rice 😆
