As a guy who 'wasted' his entire teen years playing various final fantasies, and actually remembers when FF7 was released, I feel qualified to comment. I like this version.
It's not the same as the original, but it's better suited to a fighting game. And it's better than some of the other dissidia remixes. But there's no need to argue one way or the other. Fanboys STFU please, leave the high school drama/nerd rage to Naruto fans.

Ah FFVIII and X were my first, but i prefer VIII and IV!^^

@project0omega i like 7 too, but its not the best FF for me, but the 3rd best one (i like VIII and IV FAR more!)
And its NOT the best RPG, there are alot better ones, i think, for example Disgaea - not the best graphics but very original story (each of them) and soooo many paradoies and epic characters!^^
(Dont get me worng im ever a FF-Fan until FFX^^)

I cant understand why this song is so beloved. Its not as cool as the most of other tracks in Dissidia/012 =/
But its clear VII is the best title, thats why, how could i forget >.

@steibella no thats just J-E-N-O-V-A, it doesnt have any Jenova Absolute (aka synthesis) in it. Shame cos the last jenova fight is awesome

@PowerfulFoe hell yeah, it's one of my all time fav games but I think it's not as good as IX, X or XII. Definetly a masterpiece
