Welcome to the Channel James! My favorite place to launch with a kayak is towards the main boat launch at the end of that long road. Before you reach the right turn for Bird Creek Beach there will be a small opening of sand on the left which is perfect for launching kayaks. Good luck out there this weekend!
Good stuff. Im guessing you go to UF? I went to college there and kayak fished yankeetown a lot because it was the closest body of water to gainesville.

Yea exactly! Before I bought a boat I loved kayaking Yankeetown cause it was so close and usually decent fishing
