They died almost exactly a year apart. She really mourned his death, she posted a heartwarming statement on Instagram. She said she loved him until the end.

She didn't say anything like this. She was expected to give a statement so she wrote it short but heartfelt. Don't make it to be a soap opera about unfulfilled love. She was a strong adult woman who was one of the first people to talk publicly about domestic violence. She wasn't a little scared girl who felt deepest love towards her abuser until the end. I don't know what are you trying to rokantizie here, unbreakable love between a woman and a man who held 🔫 to her head.
She talked about beautiful memories and respected their past love because it resulted in a child she loved. Of course , she was grateful and appreciative about good memories they had as a family. Mind you, we're talking about mother being respectful towards her child's father not to make them feel worse about the person whose genes they carry. She called him a genius producer, admired the art he created and reminisced about times they were falling in love. These are unforgettable memories that make anybody smile but she never said she loved him until the end, that he was her ultimate love so you have no right to say she was unfulfilled and died of a broken heart. Actually, she even talked about his great flaws even though people tend to treat dead people like holy. She said he was a lousy husband and an antisocial person.
I don't know why do you put words into Ronnie's mouth. She was classy and respectful towards the great artist and her child's father but she never said she loved him until the end. He was many people in one and she got good memories with him but she moved on, and made even greater life for herself. Your comment made me bit awkward because I feel for Ronnie. She had to run away, fight for her life, then she had to fight for her child and the career because he tried to blacklist her, plus, she had to talk publicly about the story because he was trying to destroy her reputation which is everything in the entertainment business. Despite all of that she wasn't spiteful or hostile towards her ex-husband and talked about him with respect because they had a child together and she just wanted to spare herself the pain of talking about the past. All of this, and people are trying to paint them as starcrossed lovers who just met each other in wrong circumstances. You wouldn't dare to say anything of source about Ike and Tina because there was a graphic movie about the abuse, even though Tina talked about Ike in similar manner, with tremendous class and respect, never calling him names and even feeling pity for him to some extent, and finding something nice to say about the young Ike and his talent. Just because she didn't have a public partner like Tina had, and she didn't prove to you she found another "love of her life", you have the right to spread lies that she said that she was in love/loved/felt romantic love towards her abused and imply she died of a broken heart. This man had good qualities that she appreciated and he was the father of her child but this is just slap in the face to disrespect someone's suffering, journey and personal growth just to invent stories you want people believe she told and spread lies. She was such a strong woman, have some respect, instead of projecting on her.

Below is the original statement that Ronnie published - beautiful, respectful, appreciative of early love they had that resulted in a child. Nothing about eternal love. She was honest and didn't even idealize him what usually happens after someone passes away. Have some respect to this great woman, and don't spread this dreams you projecte onto her.
"It’s a sad day for music and a sad day for me.
When I was working with Phil Spector, watching him create in the recording studio, I knew I was working with the very best. He was in complete control, directing everyone. So much to love about those days.
Meeting him and falling in love was like a fairytale.
The magical music we were able to make together, was inspired by our love. I loved him madly, and gave my heart and soul to him.
As I said many times while he was alive, he was a brilliant producer, but a lousy husband.
Unfortunately Phil was not able to live and function outside of the recording studio.
Darkness set in, many lives were damaged.
I still smile whenever I hear the music we made together, and always will. The music will be forever".

The ambitious, successful Phil of his early years who through his genius made a lot of people famous, successful and very rich then the evil Phil of his later years. Ronnie Spector is connected to the early Phil not the later.

@@cak4539 What's your point? Just because he didn't yet murder a woman, does not mean he wasn't an evil piece of shit. The man had a lengthy history of odd and abusive behavior.
You're just idolizing his personality because of the talents he happened to possess, which is highly fallacious. Has no one taught you talent and having a horrible personality aren't mutually exclusive?
