Thank you for being transparent! SO many tutorials skip the added in faux hair. As a soon to bride (in 30 days!) with knee length hair, I've spent a small fortune on trial (and fail) wedding hair. Real hair with length is heavy & typically won't hold curls for very long. By the time the stylist is taking down one side, they're already falling out before she finishes with the other side. It's good to see a truthful tutorial!

Pretty, you could also use a long piece of hair to sew the two braids together and skip the pins, also makes height in crown area. Using a topsy tail from the 80's

Absolutely beautiful! When you were setting the curls, you were using Bobby pins to hold them in place. Is there a reason to use Bobby pins instead of pin curl clips? Just curious if it’s just a personal preference of what to use, or if there is a technical reason? Thanks for the beautiful tutorial!
Pincurl clips are better, bobby pins can leave a ridge imprint.

Will someone explain the part why someione who already has long hair need extensions?
I also think the messy do look only works if your hair is blonde or a good brown. If your hair is literally the color of dirt messy do just doesn't look the same.
It makes it thicker and longer. Extensions hold a curl and style better too, so it would stop her hair slipping. If you opt for a slight highlight colour extension in dark hair youll get so much more definition ❤️

Is it recommended to pin the curls then do the makeup while the curls cool and set, then move on to the hairdo? Please answer someone I have straight hair but it holds curls well enough
Yes. When the curls cool down, you should do the rest of the hairstyle. This way the style will stay longer and curls won't lose shape

Why doesn't the bit of fake hair you put in, not even slightly come near to the colour of the models hair?!?!
