They’ll probably put a message like "The Witch from Mercury will return" at the end of the final episode. As a way to quasi-announce another season in a way to not fully confirm anything
I hope so! Lots of loose threads they didn't do a whole lot with, like Earth/Space tensions, GUND ARMs prosthetics (Petra anyone?), and Dawn of Fold just kinda went poof all together

Hopefully it's just a Seed situation where the second season occurs just with a different title.
I was not expecting the broadsword to actually be a sheath made of bits, that's soo cool. Not gonna lie I was really scared in the first half when it looked like Guel was about to die but Felsi coming in with the MVP SAVE!
I really like the bit aesthetic, changing configuration to form swords/guns/cannons and stuff.
And yeah I fully expected Guel to have his dramatic ending but Felsi came in with the "NO YOU IDIOTS NO ONE HAS TO DIE!" lol
She's become best girl in my book for saving them.
Also I didn't notice till people pointed it out, Belmeria entered the same password as Mio only capitalizing the first letter of each word and adding a period and I think that's hilarious.

I remember thinking about that possibility and theorycrafting. But I'm so mad Lauda is the pilot that I completely stopped being hyoed about it

Funny enough i actually predicted this in a previous episode that schwarzette could be darilbalde with aerial data

I didn't mention it in the video, but it appears the Aerial itself was the one interupting the data storm earlier in the episode, with Eri really being the only one to notice it.
Edit: Notrette in QZ theory is probably the best bet. The interruption happened after the infiltration team (holding Mio) got threatened. It's still an incredibly vague scene without any concrete confirmation, but highly likely

the fact that Suletta in the Calibarn was evading the various bit attacks from Eri just shows how skilled Suletta is as a pilot.I doubt that Eri is dead there have been mobile suits that have taken even more catastrophic damage than that and were simply repaired. Even if "repaired" isn't quite the word for it and near total rebuild or replacement is more accurate. Also maybe if the aerial isn't or can't be repaired in time maybe Eri's mind gets transferred to the Calibarn along with her bits since it appears they survived the shielding attempt as well.

I don't think the Space Assembly League can fire the laser again. They were going to pass off the attack as a "misfire," but that becomes harder to justify if a second shot occurs shortly after the first.
They referred to it as a "test" fire which to me implies there's gonna be a real firing at a higher output, and they definitely know the shot got blocked so I doubt they would just leave it at that since their goal was to decimate the area, eliminating everything there. It's up in the air though, maybe they'll just send in a cleanup crew Vanadis Incident style
I can only say two words about the entire s2 of wfm:

First the QZero, now the Doom Lazer, it's like moving a colossal amount of ressources and funds over decades easily goes unnoticed in this univers.
Like... Star Wars level of unnoticed :'D
Yeah those rich corpo's are probably burning most of their money on hiding their ridiculous doomsday weapons from everyone else lol
The show has had this underlying theme of transcendence and more importantly, the transcendence of love, since the beginning. It very well could be the case that Eri was able to synchronise with the data storm as a kid because of the love she has for her mom. If this is true it could mean that Suletta will be able to sync with the Caliburn in the next episode, perhaps taking on the remaining gundbits and saving Eri from being lost because of the love for her sister. With both sisters able to enter the data storm, either can inhabit Caliburn and they may be able to swap between inhabiting Suletta and Caliburn. I can see Eri showing up in Sulettas body at first, having us think that she sacrificed herself so that her mother didn't have to lose her precious real daughter. Only to have Suletta doing the GUND-ARM dance as the Caliburn in the background.
Suletta will be key that unlocks the Vanadis Institute's ultimate goal of having humans able to live in space with adaptable bodies.
I'd love to hear what others think of this, maybe I'm missing something.
I agree that Suletta syncs with the Caliban next episode. Last episode we were told that the elements to complete Quiet Zero would be handed over if the danger was too great. That means the "units" are there. Suletta pushes past Score 5 to unlock the full potential of Quiet Zero. They seize control of the Permet link on the space laser and either disable or destroy. In the push to score 8, Suletta merges with Caliban. Miorine loses Suletta forever.
Two other thoughts. They spent a lot of time focusing on Elan Prime this episode. I think he'll get off the fence finally. I also think the faltering data storm this episode has another cause. A lingering question from season one...why does Delling hate the Gundam? Maybe his wife was killed while working on Quiet Zero. Part of her consciousness lingers in the data storm.

@@dawnfallon6812 I do like the idea of the THREAT of both Prospera and Miorine losing Suletta to score 8, especially if it kicks Prospera's love of Suletta into focus, and makes the woman beg Suletta to be alright.
I know I've been expecting Suletta to die since episode one, but I really hope they don't kill her like that though. Yes, take Calibarn and the Gundbits, push the Calibarn and Suletta to their limits and destroy The Assembly League, but PLEASE let's have ONE Gundam series with an actual happy ending for ONCE!

I feel like there’s gotta either be another season or a movie! No way it ends next episode.
I suspected that the timing of the last couple episodes was off for Prospera to be the big bad. Everything pointed to this ep to be the Quite Zero takedown episode. Also Prospera lost her helmet. I don't know if she is going to live, but I don't think she will be the big bad the series has been making her look to be. And notice we STILL don't have an explanation for what she was exactly going to do with to make a place in the world for Eri. And is Delling is trying to cover for Prospera/Quiet Zero and stop the League from interfering? I thought that the League was going to be the enemy in the final battle, but didn't expect a giant space laser to pop up. Of course it says a LOT about the League that they built such a weapon without any real enemy we know of. Yeah, they are not the good guys by any means. sm
If Eri isn't completely...dead(?), deleted(?) they could probably transfer her to the Calibarn.
I actually love this idea, the Calibarn is probably my favorite Gundam in the whole show so this would be fantastic
Big Space Lasers of Doom are a Gundam Staple at this point, so its presence isn't all that strange to me
Man if Gwitch is not one of the main focus point story lines in the next SRT main campaign I'd be hella sad. That and maybe more love for IBO since it felt like an afterthought in 30 as much as I love that it got added. Unicorn + Ariel + Phenex needs to have a block the colony lazer moment. If at all possible I hope we get a route where we get to have Eri and Prospera as team mates and we get a combi attack with Suletta. Maybe the damned space assembly league getting snookered is in the cards as the final scenario!

But Aerial is basically Nu Gundam but with Classic's paint job and thicc.
Honestly, I think the title for the next episode, "FINAL EPISODE", is a red herring!
It just feels like there are still too many side plots going on in the background for THIS to be the end.
I agree. Pretty much all mainline Gundam's are 50ish episodes, so there's gotta be something big happening in the "final episode" that'll segue into more

Here is hoping that the leader of the fleet (or someone else) is not okay with what the SAL is doing and recorded everything and releases it to the public, causing SAL to be the next big bad as a continuation of WfM.
At this point, I'm legitimately worried that there'll be no consequences for what Delling did back on the prologue, or worse yet, getting some sort of sad death/sacrifice, despite not earning any kind of redemption arc, there was nothing "grey" about what he did on the prologue, he heavily profited and made a huge career for himself, by ordering the massacre of Ochs Earth.
Highly unlikely but i want this to happen: suletta gets to permet score 8 somehow and uses the remaining gundnodes and bits to stop the more powerful laser shot, dying in the process.

So many pieces at play, I’m honestly shouting when the Space Assembly League showed the F***k-off laser at how the hell they’re gonna wrap everything up?! Either we’re getting season 3 or a movie. Also, couldn’t they have used the laser earlier? 😅

One important rule to remember: If something is partially destroyed, doesn’t mean it’s totally destroyed. Eri is likely in a critical state of a coma.
If there is going to be a season 3 or a movie, I have a terrifying thought that in order to save Eri, Suletta might do something crazy like switching place with Eri, except now Suletta will possess Calibarn and Eri will take her body. Although I highly doubt that’s possible since it’ll just complicate the lore or plot. My hopeful thought is that Eri and all the gund-bits merged with Calibarn instead. Just a simply switch for Eri into a different Gundam suit.
Not sure if it was revealed before, but I’m surprised to find out that Luada is adopted.
I think of all the elements that occurred in this episode, the sudden interruption on Quiet Zero and Eri asking “something” why it’s interfering is the most crucial. Because of Delling’s connection to Quiet Zero, and Miorine’s mother’s tomato/genetic code being the key to shutting it down, I think that Miorine’s mother is just like Eri, but either in the Quiet Zero or somewhere else connecting to Quiet Zero. Her and Delling’s involvement with the Vanadis Incident, Quiet Zero, and Gundam are still a big mystery.

The laser hasn't been brought up before, Elan Prime looked worried during that scene so maybe he will be the one to stop it. The series has a pacing problem, they couldn't show everything they wanted during the runtime so there are several things that feel like asspulls.
Nika is nowhere to be seen during the later half of the episode, that's gotta be important.
I also thought it was Aerial who interrupted the flow of the Datastorm, the entity inside the Gundam hasn't been mentioned since the Prologue but it wouldn't be crazy if it was still there. Or maybe Notrette is also a Permet ghost.
A 3 side free for all is nothing new for Gundam but the setup is kind of poor, aside from the members of Peil the Assembly has no characters and their involvement has been pretty vague.
Overall I think the series could definitily go for another 24 episodes even after the Quiet Zero arc, there is lot things left to explore both in Earth and Space.
Prospera is now down in the game though not out of it, Mio's mom is best mom of the series, Delling SHOULD be PISSED those greedy ass hat's tried too kill his daughter along with admitting too the highly potential lie that caused most of these shenanigans too happen at the very least too suletta and mio (the two most hurt by it) at first with everyone else later on, and honestly it'd be a waste too just forget about prime Elan as a prominent canidate 4 the next villians of the story (in a civil war arc ?) should delling be unable too bring them to heel with haste, bad shit may still go down!!!!
I think there will be more episodes and a time skip as the witch from mercury has been a very popular series for gunpla and merchandise.
Yeah I have a feeling "final episode" is just for dramatic effect for now, and I'm hoping for a time skip scenario. And they got me on the gunpla, after building the HG Aerial I'm about to just throw down money for the rest of the series' HG's lol
Now, if Eri died, Prospera will hellbent to burned the world.

All this focus on quiet zero and eri makes me wonder about the whole earth/space war, especially since the final episode will happen next week.
If we don't get season 3 I'd guess the whole space/earth war will be resolved with the deal shaddiq and miorine did last episode somehow.
Given Guel's and Gundam curse's track records I honestly expected Lauda to die, but he survived both death flags lol
Yeah the whole Space/Earth tensions seems to be kind of a loose thread. They didn't do a whole lot with it, with Quiet Zero not really being related to Earth at all other than it's probably part of Eri's new "world"
And I'm really hoping for a S3, too many interesting things have been brought up for them not to implement them in the story somehow, like the new GUND ARM prosthetics

It's more that there are a lot of things they kinda left out to dry. Earth/Space tensions just got brushed aside after Mio left Earth, along with the Dawn of Fold. GUND ARM inc's prosthetics could be a thing for them to use, such as giving Petra some if she's really messed up. Mio's trade offer with Shaddiq won't be addressed if it's all dealing with giant laser, etc etc
If they don't go with another 25ish episodes, there's gonna be a lot of loose threads, and/or the final episode will be extremely rushed
@@RevoSKL Not necessarily, the SAL are the source of Earthian oppression and literally only have the laser at their disposal after the destruction of most of their fleet, and if the cast manages to beat up the laser they're basically done, considering Miorine's gonna be president after that it's just a matter of diplomacy. Gund being given to Petra could be just a quick visual and... well, the assumption that Miorine's deal with Shaddiq has nothing to do with the laser in the first place is one I disagree with heavily, he was the SAL's lapdog after all, he might've known about it and told her, but even if he somehow didn't whatever deal she struck with him can be showcased in the next episode with zero disturbances.
I mean, this episode in and of itself resolved like 50 plot points at an extremely reasonable pace, resolving 4 in the next episode seriously isn't that big a task. The show's been chock full of plot points that it sets up and resolves lightning-quick and I'd argue that the amount of plot points they have to deal with in the next episode is easily lower than they had been in most of the show up until this point. I mean this with no offense, but this kinda sounds like cope lol.
Now if we're talking a continuation with completely, that could definitely work, but as for Miorine and Suletta? Their story can be wrapped up real easy.
