Exactly why I LOVE my Good AD-200 (that have basically become my go-to units)- perfect 'sweet spot' of power and portability. I am sure the B10 will be similar- though a bit bigger and MUCH more expensive (of course).
This video just made me smile looking at the images these master's created. It's unbelievably insane. It's the first time I am seeing the magician himself - Joseph Radhik - on video and glad to see that is just a normal human being. I always had a perception that he is some superhero who captures stunning images.
The B2's were never appealing to me due to the cables. I see a winner here with the B10. And is like having a B1X that tops at 9.0. The adjusted kelvin temperature on the LED modeling light is a nice addition. Excellent job, Profoto.
Amazed with quantity of lightning, this light provides & manage overpower sunlight this.. A new revolutionary has began #profotoB10 welcome.!!. Tutorial or brand promotion was done amazing by #twomannstudios #josephjoyradhik kudos to teams.. 🙏
Question: Profoto: What did they think about the B10 in the end? 2 Answer's : 1. Me: I'll pass, there are more affordable and better options. I feel like profoto doesn't understand the market anymore. I'll be sticking with godox & flashpoint for outdoor studio strobes. Just being honest; not trolling or being rude. 2.) Me: The photos from these photographers didn't sell me on the idea on the b10. Great locations but not well executed, felt there was a bit of lack of experience. If I saw them with a light meter and maybe showing a bit of understanding of the Inverse-square law then I would have gave them more leeway.
I too was surprised at the resultant images...nothing like the impact I was expecting them to have to show off the flashes capabilites. Maybe it was me and this is some 'new wave' style of flash imagery. All the modifiers...so far I've only seen three modifiers shown with the B10's in all the videos I've watched. Standard diffuser, beauty dish and gel holder...no softbox/octabox. Not being disrespectful Profoto but this video hasn't worked for me as a photographer (either).
The photos were heavily edited to save the poor execution. Still they didn't feel any special. I guess the videographer was the more aesthetic one out of the bunch.
To all that say that Two Mann are poor photographers. Try winning half of the awards they have. Also, show me some wedding photographers that are actually much better and more consistent then they are in weddings.
Veo que en las primeras imágenes de los Two Mann colocan un filtro en el b10 que usan para ellos (a parte del cto de fondo) pero no lo veo indicado en la toma. Que filtro es???
I bought the Profoto B10x plus a week ago, it works really well and is surprisingly quick. I'm also wondering, are there any downsides for using freeze mode? is the flash not as strong or consistent as in normal mode? The one thing i wish they'd add to the Air ttl remote is a way to see what strength your light is at. You can only change stops up or down but you cannot see at what level the light is at. You can see this if you connect your phone but i don't want to hold another device in my hand. (support for apple watch would be great) Is this something you guys will update with firmware or will there be a new remote in the future which makes this possible?
I’m positively sure that no man made lighting can overpower the sun. Perhaps overpower the ambient light. And please use a lens hood if you’re shooting in bright light conditions. Profoto has amazing lighting equipment and always ready to work.
overpowering the sun in most cases give you amazing photos. Im too invested in godox at this point to go for a b10 lol but I will ad maybe an ad600 or ad400 to the collection just in case I want some real power. I mainly shoot with my ad200 in my channel but the lighting has to be perfect for that!
I think these units look like a great addition to the Profoto lineup. I was super-impressed with how quickly the B10s were able to refresh when Joseph was shooting rapid-fire at 6:10. I didn't see a single misfire. I own several brands of less-expensive lights, and I don't think any of them would have performed as well.
@6:50 "especially with all of these LIGHT SHAPING TOOLS" - that's a phrase they must've been required to use - I've only ever seen it used by Profoto...
Is "literally" never having shot models even more never having shot models than never having shot models? Fun video, though. I'm considering the B10. Thanks!
In all the pictures, the light seems to be coming out of some magic area. I agree with the use of flash and use it always. But I add it in so as it looks like a real scene. When you put just the models and the wall lit in a circle. There should be something in the scene that could have lit them. In all of these it just looks fake. Saying that, I understand a lot of the new "Pro" photographers are doing this. But it doesn't make it right. Reminds me of the Old Glamour Shots we all laugh at now. When you have to clone out a lightstand with a light on it. It's probably going to look fake. On the B10. It's a nice size. I do like the form factor. I'd have to test one myself. Traveling, it looks like a good option. If it works and lasts which the A1 was having issues burning through battery power in an hour from doing nothing more then sitting while it was on. While other brands shot all day long without depleting the power. And saying the photographers have won awards? I see award winning photo's all the time that look horrible technically. I'm not sold on a photographer being good based on awards. Some of those awards are nothing more then bought awards. Also, I think Profoto has amazing lights on the upper end. The Speedlights and battery lights I've had some issues with though. I think they need to be built more bulletproof and with better electronics especially since we're paying a premium for a pro level light.
This guy is a top pro and only NOW can he shoot in the midday sun??!!!!! Hogwash! There have been several portable and powerful flashes capable of HSS for that purpose. Still, no praisy praisy lighty lighty, no keepy keepy lighty lighty!!
No the light is "too bright" and has the same harshness of the sun because it's only 250ws and you have to have it a meter away for it to be bright enough.
a lot of photographers don't use a light meter so that's why he is guessing by saying turn it down etc. & also not understanding Inverse-square law as your stating

I don’t know anything about flash photography, I’ve shot with continuous light here and there (partly because I do more video than photo) and flash is still a mystery to me. I don’t know what I was expecting to see, but I didn’t see one photo that had any sort of magic or unique quality to it. I’m willing to accept that I “don’t get it” because I don’t- but still, the hard spotlight looking shots, or just hard light in general didn’t look special to me? I see some people saying they didn’t think the photographers knew what they were doing, but it seemed like they did? What would be a good video to watch light like this used in an impressive way? Something that can impress a layperson I guess?
You also needed to take some better photographers, with all the locations and resources, they didn’t come up with one image that was better than average
😂 Awesome! ❤️ Thanks for the encouraging comment, Andrew. 2 things. 1) What the commercial doesn't show, is the amount of pressure/expectations placed on us while making these shots (filming and re-filming every move we make) while trying to check all the required boxes (many) with very limited time. 😂 One of the more stressful/limiting shooting situations we've ever faced. 😆2) We still haven't forgiven Profoto for cropping out the critical visual element along the top edge of our frame in the blue city (for this 16:9 video). The dude in the yellow shirt literally makes that shot. 😂 Maybe not "better than average." But we were pretty proud of that layered composition. Anyway, appreciate your positive comment. Sorry it took us 3 years to see it.
Can you realize that you 've made bad use of those lights? The videography in this video though is amazing and shows how someone who has "basic pro equipment" can use existing light instead of using some "more equipment" in the wrong way.
OMG , am impressed with lights and photographers both.

I think this set will be a nice Christmas present...… Interesting how the lights though in the scene needed to be removed in post production….

Love this. But one B10 costs a multiple of AD400 pro.

I have several profoto lights. This video was mediocre. The photos were out of focus. Good compositions throughout the video.
Godox ad600pro better than this
Poor pictures, Profoto should take good photographers.
😂 Awesome! ❤️ Thanks for the encouraging comment, Eric.
Why would u take pics where u can't even see faces of subjects.. Lol
Boring pics with so mich expensive gear l
So fake and orchestrated...
It's a commercial. 😂 🙄
