THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! You are the only J400 series tub (a J1000 system Control Pack) that shows how the Flow switch looks and where it is installed. I wondered if you could just unscrew the sensor from the PVC housing... apparently you can. great news. I never thought about buying another generic flow switch to install. that makes it a lot cheaper too. Thanks very much for helping me out!
Thank you from 30 degrees Minnesota. Got my heater working again! We have the J-495. Which flow switch on amazon did you purchase? Your link seems to not lead to the product!
My particular unit does not have a shut off valve to allow for that…. But…. With another set of hands I do not think there is enough pressure that you could not cover it up, make the swap and get the new one in even with some water coming back at ya …. Just my two cents

You bet, glad to help!
Keep posting videos about this tub!! I just bought a used one. I can’t even figure out the head rests.
So you bought the whole assembly but just replaced the switch? Did you use any sealant?
Can you update your link to buy the switch. This one has no stock available. Great video by the way. Thx
Does any 1/2" thread flow switch will work?
My jacuzzi keeps tripping since following these steps. Any trouble shooting tips?
