Amazing how Fr Homeming baulks at speaking of original sin. Instead he says we (Catholics) now have "spirituality about the human condition .. and the struggle to be virtuous good and true". Why is this? Because the modernists don't want to talk about original sin, about the fall of Adam and Eve and thus Satan. They want to ignore concupiscence, and it's battle against reason and the soul's desire to do good. Oh wow to the poor Church, and those being led astray by modernist theology like this.
Listen to his other talks before judging... There's an appropriate time and place for everything... Which often does not correspond to one's preferences. Pax.
