I must say that self improvement makes life easier, because the fulfillment you feel after doing the thing you're supposed to but don't feel like it makes it worth doing. Hardest part of self improvement as I experienced is the pause. Usually it happens when you have too much work to do basic tasks like routines or you let your room get messy. After the work is done and you have time to do your routines again you always find an excuse not to do it and if you do it too much you completely stop doing it. I guess I struggle with this the most. How about you?
I completely agree! What you call 'the pause' is also for me the most difficult part. When I have momentum, everything feels easier and smoother. As soon as I stop for a while, I notice that the momentum is gone and I have to build it back up again.
