A truly fine band. The songs on their first 2 albums have hooks to die for. The MBV comparison is low hanging fruit - whilst his guitar sound is 100% homage to Kevin Shields, their song writing sets them apart. A bit like Slowdive, who also suffered unfair comparison to MBV. Either way, a pity nobody outside of about 1000 people even know the Joys exist. An astonishing talent, criminally ignored.
