I have the four levy campaign games and really enjoy them, but have been undecided regarding ancients. Interview has me leaning towards them, might need to find out some more. Hope you enjoyed the convention and meeting The Players Aid Gentlemen. Many Thanks
I'm going to pick up Plantagenet in the upcoming sale, that's the current one I've not gotten yet. The convention was so much fun. Working on a Wrap Up video this week. :)
Awesome. I was hoping GMT would bring this series into the ancient world. Really good choice choosing the Peloponnesian war. I would argue that the feudal mechanics of the original series would work for Celtic societies or the Sasanians. It might be an interesting asymmetry considering the Romans unfeudal society fought both of these cultures. Maybe even the Punic wars...
I tend to agree that there are lots of directions the series can go, and appears to be going, with all the development going on at GMT with these games. :)
Great looking game, the designer seems very passionate about his game. I’m not a big L&C guy, but I will definitely be picking this one up. More Ancients please!
He's a great guy, yes, and talking to him you can sense how much energy and passion he's put into his project. I hope the game does very well, and I look forward to seeing this one move through production. :)
Mike, this is a great interview. An interesting series and given my last name, the subject is appropriate. I'm also intrigued by the mechanics of Solitaire for this game/series especially as it involves some innovation on the player's part. Thanks, as always!!!!!!! Nick Stasnopolis
Thanks Nick! I think Jason's comment on the idiosyncrasies of L&C solitaire play is on the mark. I have my own weird little system to make it work for me in a way I like. :)
Last time I felt like this is when I was 20 and KISS came out for the first time without make-up... Mike is not wearing a hat. My money was on 'Bald Spot". I would have lost 😀 All kidding aside, great interview. History lesson along with game explanation. Love it.
Hahaha! Too funny. I feel like I should shave a bald spot on my crown just for fun. I just kind of like hats. And I'm glad you enjoyed the interview, it was great to hear Jason talk about his game.
Excellent overview, congrats on this Ancients contribution to the system, Jason!
And great to see a mini ‘Newport Reunion’ in San Diego!
Yes, it was great to see Jason again and glad that we could find time to do this interview. :)
Got a chuckle from Jason's t shirt...looking forward to Epipolae...thanks for the interview
Ha! My pleasure, glad you enjoyed it. I'm excited the game made its P500 and should be a reality. :)

Good interview, Mike. Well done. Interesting questions and allowing Jason to respond without talking over him.
Thanks! This was the first time to do a live interview so I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the format. Thanks for the feedback too. :)
I was going to say the same thing. Great interview. Is there anything your not uniquely qualified for?
Good interview! You did very well.
Thanks for the kind words, gentlemen! :)

Really enjoyed listening to this interview mate, great work!
Thanks Parkera! I'm glad you liked it. :)

Great interview, I am looking forward to playing this game. I have joined the discord server. Thanks as always.
That Discord server is great if you enjoy the Levy & Campaign series. Well recommended. Lots of good people there. :)
