I literally came to the comments for this exact reason. My heart was full when you told your son you’d leave immediately after he asked to go home. Love this so much. ♥️
Awesome job! Too many of the Try-to-ride-everything-with-Genie-plus videos have just ONE guy doing the park. Your video is much more realistic and applicable to more guests, because you're a group of four. You're showing us what it's like to book LLs for four, take snack breaks for four, etc, call it a day for four. {A-team voice} I love it when a plan comes together.
Crazy impressed at how many rides you guys actually got in. And that was a Super Dad move knowing to stop when your kids were at their limit. That can be tough. Well done!
My husband and I love your videos, we used your techniques last time we went to Disneyland and we were able to go on almost every ride in the park! Thanks for the time and energy you and your family put in your videos 😊
You have a beautiful family. I was a cast member in the late 60s and early 70s. Walt was still alive and there was a strict rule about men`s hair length. Not just for cast members, but for guests. That's why I quit working there 😢
What an amazing video!! I love your channel. You bring the perfect combination of “local” and “out of towner” to all of your videos. Love the tip of refreshing to find better LL times. 😊
Thanks for this awesome video Traver! Its very useful to those of us travelling from afar for the first time at Disneyland. Gave us good insight into how many rides are possible and i now think genie+ is a must have for short trips. Also the amount of steps you had done by lunch wow - need to make sure we all do some bigger walks in training 👍 This was excellent and a definite rewatch closer to our trip 😁 Thanks again!!
It was probably the busiest day we’ve had at the parks. Won’t likely repeat it for awhile. As I assume the DCA challenge will be easier with only 18 rides. We’ve come very close in DCA before without Genie+, so Genie+ should make it quite possible and leave at our normal time.
Im surprised benji didnt have a stroller. It must have been an exhausting day. I love Disneyland, but riding all the rides in one day isnt a goal of mine😂😂 glad its possible🎉🎉🎉
I'm so excited to be going to Disneyland in a few weeks (haven't been since last March) so this video was very helpful! I've been to Disneyland 5+ times and I love being able to ride a lot of rides, but I want to be able to take breaks and just enjoy the overall atmosphere. ✨
My best friend and i watched all your videos in prep for our first time. We got through nearly 10 rides in the first 2.5 hours at open. We didnt use our genie+ pass until 1pm and we managed to get on every ride except Space mountain. Thank you for such amazing, informative vlogs.❤
this was filmed the day after my wife and I left. We ran through genie plus for both parks all three days, and was able to ride everything we wanted to, multiple times. Couple MEPs in there too. So with that grade of success, we wondered a few times through our trip if this was possible, or even palatable to push ourselves that fast. Great video!
You guys did really good. That is a lot of rides in one day! We did 11 rides starting at 1:00pm to close and two short breaks. Next time, want a nice balance of favorite rides only, shopping, eating, exploring, shows.
Love yalls videos ! U convinced me to place my trip for this Monday - wed instead of waiting til middle of march when it’s super crowded. Only bummer is radiator springs and grizzly river will be closed oh well excited !!
Hi!!! I love your videos. Would you please do something regarding the transportation, like, are there any buses to go hotels - disneyland - hotels, costs, routes and something like that. Thank you!
The garlic cheesy pretzel bread was my favorite item! I was so glad I tried it while I was there. I agree about Peter Pan, I dont know why its line is SO long. The ride was fine until the end and then we got whiplash at the end. For such a popular ride, you would think they would make the landing a little easier. Alice ride is great to do during parades because you can watch while in line and makes the time go by faster. For our 3 days, without genie plus, we rode every ride we wanted to except space mountain bc single rider wasnt available at the times we went. 2 of my friends did get ILL for ROR on our last day just bc it was that important for them to ride it. 😃
My mother watched this and said to me today: “we aren’t doing that at WDW right?” 🤣 I told her we’d be way more lax. It helps that most of the WDW parks have less than 10-12 rides each.

Do you have any recommendations on days of the week to aim for and which to avoid. I will be doing park hopper for the five days and thinking of splitting the starting park to 3 Disneyland and 2 CA. I have a few other tours to fit in over that period and will do a full day Universal VIP on one day as well. Thanks

it is almost impossible of what you guys have done. Great Job!. with my family, we usually spend lot of time talking and arguing for valid reasons in a theme park. If i cover half of what you did, i would be happy even with thet Genie +
I’m the same with the Peter Pan ride. I know everyone loves it, but every time I go on it with my family I’m always like it’s ok 😂. I really don’t know why people like that over other rides at Disney. I’m more of a pirates person.
Love the video, am watching it for a second time now. We are visiting from Australia next year. We don’t have theme parks here so am wondering which rides are good introductory ones for 7year old and 10 year old?
My boys are 9 and 6, and they love all of them. Everything at Disneyland is pretty tame across the board. Over at Disney California Adventure, however, there are a few bigger thrill rides that might need some convincing (Guardians of the Galaxy and Incredicoaster). But at Disneyland, I would say Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a good trial roller coaster before braving Space Mountain or Matterhorn. Space is the in the dark, Matterhorn is bumpy because of its age. If they don't like Big Thunder, they won't like either of those options. Indiana Jones jostles you around a lot, too, but it's not scary. The rest of the rides really are pretty tame.
I finally made it on my trip last weekend. 1 day at Disneyland and 1 day and California Adventures. Thanks to your tips we were able to ride what we wanted to at both parks and I impressed my sisters😆 Unfortunately I forgot to stack Genie plus but next time I will know better haha. The lines were not bad at all.
Hello I want some advice we are planning to go on the 2nd week of November on a weekday Which is busier a Monday or Wednesday? We 2 adults and a child are not going to purchase a lightning lane So my plan is go to rise of the resistance first then the M. Falcon Then the rest will be the nearby rides and the fantasyland will be the last
@@ashe2377 I would switch that around. Fantasyland first, then go to Rise around 9-10 AM. Lines are lower around that time than right at opening. Wednesday might be better that week given the start of the Christmas season that weekend, and Monday being a popular day for folks to extend their weekend.
You can, there are always CMs. But they may tell you it’s not necessary depending on the ride. Like you’ll walk right on both times and the switch pass is useless. But if you’re going to the popular ones, then absolutely yes.
Great but long day. Did your kids even make it out of the parking garage before the fell asleep? Long drive home. I am visiting family now and am enjoying the fireworks in the distance. You have a great family
Super exhausting! Thanks for doing it for your viewers. If it helps. Monorail, Columbia and Railroad are technically not rides. They are modes of transportation. Thats what a cast member told me when i tried to use a Multi experience pass on train.
I agree with you, but many of our viewers would be appalled if I said so on camera. 🤣 I learned the hard way last year that the Railroad and SS Columbia have some very die hard fans.

Planning our trip for September and have a question. We are going for a week, as of now we have 5 day 1 park per day tickets on layaway with getaway today but unsure if I should switch them to park hopper. The oogie boogie schedule makes me want to plan days around that but I also wanted to be able to rope drop parks that don’t have early entry. Isn’t it a pretty slow morning at DCA on oogie boogie days because people mostly go to Disneyland instead?

i just ride all the slow rides except pirates no fast rides for me but when i go to disneyland i will go on the monorail and go to toontown to ride mickey and minnies because its perfect
If you want to ride every ride on LL, you have to start using them. Otherwise, you’ll only get to ride 2-3 of the bigger rides, and the rest will be too far gone if you don’t start booking until Noon.

So they put a family of four in the front two seats and they can’t find a party of two in the standby, then they’ll take from the Roo Pass line.
Can you please do a video on FREE PARKING HOTELS. THANK YOU
