    I love the idea of the gravy and even more so the idea was left over putting it in the dressing. Thank you so much for sharing. Definitely gonna try this is here.

Your video shows all the important steps (looking so delicious!) without wasting time and I love that and I'm subscribing because of that! How long is it ok to freeze if I double the amount? Is it ok to freeze til the following Thanksgiving ?

      I wouldn’t do gravy more than 3 months but broth can be frozen 6-8 months

    For my dressing, I save all broth from everything from all year, mix it all together. Chicken, Turkey & pork. It makes really good dressing

      Sound delicious. The home made broth/stock makes all the difference.

    my turkey stock is almost clear color, so how do i make the gravy color brown?

    • @DarlenesTable

      You can brown flour lightly. Were vegetables and wings well roasted. Or some kitchen bouquet would brown it up. On lightly. Veggies and wings must be roasted well. Very well

    Does freezing gravy alter the thickness?

    • @DarlenesTable
      @DarlenesTable  Рік тому

      It does get a thicker, but you can add a little broth to it.

    I made this but my broth did NOT have any fat on top of it after being refrigerated for 2 days?!?

      Oh wow. I don’t understand that. I always have fat from the Turkey wings. Did you put everything from the roasting pan into the stock pot? How was the flavor of the broth?

      Just use butter. The broth has plenty of flavor I’m sure. Mine always does.
