Hey I use it directly after washing my face and layer it based on how my skin feels (in case dry then do multiple layers otherwise single layer)

Yes you can try a patch test , but this is great product for the skin barrier options we have available in India and the more hydration the better for the skin with spots or active acne or non active as well . You can think like it will help your skin recover faster .
