I don't have time to watch the whole video, unfortunately, but your clarity is so refreshing, when I have just watched a video from a so-called "Theology of the Body Institute" where they see no problem at all, basically. Around 9:00 Gary describes what is known as "incrementalism" or "boiling frog"-strategy, and to my mind it is absolutely clear that that is the intention behind the document. In Amoris laetitia, Francis did this with a footnote (see Tim Gordon's excellent analyses of this procedure), here the foot in the door is the word 'couple' (which - for now anyway - is meant to be understood as clearly distinct from the word 'union'). This could be called childish if it weren't so serious. The most serious thing of all, though, is that the idea that you can actually lead people to Hell by indulging their delusions and sinful behaviour has already been given up by most of the Catholic hierarchy.

Unfortunately Catholics go further from the faith and it looks like we will never go back to be one church.
