Shibu Onsen is a hot spring located in Yamanouchi Town, Shimotakai District, Nagano Prefecture. The area is a hot spring village called "Yudanaka-Shibu Onsenkyo".

The world of contrasts and beauty....the chill of the night air, the snow, the steam as it rises up from the onsen, and the warmth of the lights. Shown to us thru the lens of your camera as you take us places we would normally just walk by.
Images perfectly matched to your background music....10 minutes of peace and beauty that we can experience time and time again, or as the Dr. would say; take as needed. I have been there when I was a University students, escorted many American students came to study at my Uni. They were so nervous to have onsen naked with other people for the first time because it it not their culture, but they gradually got used to it and enjoyed it so much after all. I was so happy that they tried to get to know the Japanese tradition and enjoyed their first Onsen trip.

We are here in a townscape of contrasts. Light and dark; hot and cold. Snow lingers under a black sky. Lanterns glimmer in a gloom suddenly pierced by the blazing lights of an intricately decorated structure (a hotel?). We walk the frozen streets, perhaps tempted by the welcoming warmth of the shops but we pass on (or at least, any shopping is done off camera!). We continue to a massive, brightly lit entrance gate, beyond which we glimpse the forbidding shadows of a winter wilderness. Better turn back and follow the steam to a hot bath! By the way, what is shot in the shooting gallery we passed earlier? Thanks Anna, for opening yet another window into your fascinating world.

Thank you Anna, that was lovely. The way the lighting gave a yellow glow to everything made the streets look warm and inviting even though there was snow and ice. The occasional puff of steam made it look so interesting and a bit spooky. Brilliantly done as always.

再度 渋温泉に行かれたんですね。しかも雪の長野県。つらら 初めて観ました❗長野県は憧れの土地です。４階建ての金具屋の木造は宮大工が建てただけあって素晴らしいですね。国の有形文化財に泊まれるなんて幸せですよね。Anna さん今回は終わりかたが素敵でしたね～

再訪とあったので一度2019年にアップされてた「昼の渋温泉」を見直してからこの動画を見ました。お昼と夜とではまるで雰囲気が違いますね。雪が積もっている中、時折湧き出る湯けむりが更に温泉街の雰囲気をより一層醸し出します。
昼の渋温泉の時には最後に歴史の宿で終わり、今回は最初に持って来て再訪のタイトルを入れるセンスは流石だなと感じました^^ そして、夜見る歴史の宿金具屋さんは本当に中から湯婆婆が出てきそうな雰囲気でもありました。
今回も情緒ある温泉街をご紹介いただきありがとうございました^^

ぼんやりと灯る提灯や街灯が目に優しい。とても、とても、心が落ち着きます。100年前に生まれていたなら、垢抜けない素朴な温泉芸者さんになって、三味線抱えて、あちこちのお宿のお座敷に呼ばれて｢お客さん、お待ちどおさま☺️｣なぁんて、やってたりして…とか、想像してしまいました。🤭カラコロと雪下駄鳴らして歩きたいなぁ。💕なんともいえない優しい宵闇の、寒そうだけど、とても温もりある景色をありがとうございました。☺️💕毎日、寝る前に見て眠りたいと思います。🍀

いつもご視聴いただき誠にありがとうございます。はい、シフトレンズという建築系の写真を撮る際に利用するレンズの効果を使用いたしました。普通のレンズとはピントの合い方が異なるため、ミニチュアのように見えるそうです😄今回は地獄谷方面へは行かずに昼間はじっくりと温泉街を散策しておりました。確かに、温泉街の蕎麦は間違いないですよね！！

こんにちは😊以前の渋温泉と比べましたが、見せ方が本当に深化していますよね。突き進む感はなくなり、両脇の建物を回るように見せていて、町並みの表情がとても丁寧に映し出されています。このスピード感、見せ方のリズミカルさで眠りに誘われるような心地良さです。作り手の存在は消えているように巧みなのですが、多幸感があります。この多幸感は魔力です。
個人的な興味ですが、あの神々しい門のお寺が気になりました。たぶん、雪深く闇なのでしょうが。
