Personally I've fished both and I feel that you still get a solid return for your money with the Sierra over the Fury. Once you step up to the Champion XP, the value return starts to drop off pretty quickly so unless you're really serious or a pro I wouldn't recommend going above the Sierra.
I has all Sierras and jumped up to the Champion XP. I feel like it's just a tiny bit more sensitive, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra money. I think the Sierra is the best bang for your buck in the whole Dobyns line up
no not even close lol. i own every dobyns besides the new cadence which . i don’t think i’m gonna be purchasing since it’s similar to the sierra from what . i have seen / heard the championship xp and hp are on a whole different level the rods are made so much differently they’re basically finesse rods with a 2 foot strong back bone . I can’t even tell you a rating for them because a medium heavy isn’t a medium heavy like a furry or colt a medium heavy champion is light and feels like a medium but has such a strong back bone and they load so quickly and deep into the back bone of the rod you don’t have to set the hook hard to get a good hook set with them the best comparison would be a bamboo stick strong at the base and light at the tip .
ik the amount of resin used is also a big defector as well but both rods are from the same brand and that resin would be much more appearent to the touch personally (ive held the two rods before but have only fished the fury).
The 2 furys that I own are both pretty parabolic rods but it really varies depending on what model you are looking at. Personally, I really only use a parabolic rod for treble hooks baits (except a jerkbait).
I got the Sierra in spinning and a Kaden in casting. Both rods does an amazing job on what I need it to do.

@@bryancampos1877 Nice! And I thought I got a good deal on the one I got for the kid @ $200ish :)

Awesome dude. Last summer i was torn between the two and went sierra
Good choice!
I have the sierra spinning model and I want to buy a casting rod, do they feel like pool noodles?
I believe the fury uses seaguides not fuji. Sierra is great value. Nice review 👍
Thank you, good to know!
I'm pretty sure that my son's Fury (705CB) had a Fuji guide sticker on it.
@@shred5 it’s for the reel seat. Fury series uses sea guides but a Fuji reel seat
@@Dr.EmmettBrown. That makes sense, thanks for the info
Sierras are split grip too
It was dope seeing you fish with Brian lattimer @thetacklerat
great vid
The sierra is most similar the champion xp in sensibility?

yeah but what modulus blank do they use, thats the real question

@@odyishere1828 30 million modulus graphite i believe same as the fury series could be wrong
@@adaofromdiscord interesting but, is the sierra series 30 ton as well, cuz I feels like 40 ton
Have you noticed how the fury are much more parabolic then the Sierra even champions.

@@TheTackleRatOfficial you be amazed how parabolic helps with single hooks baits especially moving baits
Dude, you really need to get on the water with these reviews. I like your style, but credibility is created with actions not words.
my boat is out of commission for the summer due to an accident so no water for me unless its tournaments.
