The Stagecoach Stop On Washington's PA Estate | Retracing History Ep. 73

Washington purchased the land where his first major military action occurred. While he never personally saw this land developed, future generations did. Today, we will stop at the Mount Washington Tavern along the National Road and get a glimpse of what life was like to travel back horse and buggy on the first federally funded highway in the United States.
