this is one of those very rare covers that puts its own spin on the song without doing an injustice to the original. really great fucking work.

Mad world by Gary Jules was better than the original as well
The Industrial Metal cover that's most widely revered today is ua-cam.com/video/8AHCfZTRGiI/v-deo.html
Jeff Buckley’s “Hallelujah” and The Sunday’s “Wild Horses” make my list of better than the originals.
There's also Rodrick Heffley's version of Baby by Justin Bieber

That synth breakdown is so Nine Inch Nails I love it. There's something so beautiful and tragic about it... chills every time.
3 teeth gives me hope for industrial.
Hey! Definitely check out the contemporary Australian synth /EBM duo made up of two twin brothers named, "Multiple Man."
Their latest EP is very Industrial, entitled "High on the Hog." Their first full length LP preceding that was named "New Metal," & the rest of their discography is pretty scattered & by no means easy to track it all down. But the hunt for every last tune & remix from them is definitely worth it, I highly recommend them!

Are you 12?
Who let buzzkillington in here?
Did you listen to the new album?
It’s cool to unlike anything . We got an edgy boy here
This version dug up the pure rage which was all that time hidden underneath the uptempo and carefree sound of the original.
As a poor, socially outcast, and bullied kid I never thought of shooting anyone. I did however develop a "no shits given" attitude after the teachers and parents never addressed my problems with the bullies.
So the following year I just beat the shit out of them and shrugged when I received disciplinary actions. Even punched a teacher when he defended the bully.
The problem with society is that no one tries to stand up to the bullies, and oftentimes the bullies are protected.
We all must mind the monsters which each and every one of us create.
Getting disciplined for defending yourself against a bully? I bet the bully played the victim after you gave him a good right hook.

@@saramorin4792
Of my bullies in school, all but one straightened themselves out after a few beat downs. The one exception was eventually arrested a few years ago for sexual assault of a minor, so I suspect he was just mentally disturbed beyond help from a young age.
That being said, I believe that the realization that their is always someone around who won't tolerate your shit is beneficial to society.
Saw these guys pop up in my recommendations felt the urge to listen.
Love this old school industrial vibe to it.
I've seen them live. They are the real deal. They toured with Tool and they have been working with Charlie Clouser who is an engineer from the Nine Inch Nails camp.
they remind me of Early Dope and a little static x

old *school* industrial vibe

Agreed. (Coming from someone who had wax trax bands plastered all over her wall when she was 11.)
@@lizabit7 Ha, same except it was my school locker. They probably would've been worried about me except that nobody in my school knew who KMFDM was.
One of the better covers I've heard. These guys are a breath of fresh air to modern music while maintaining the integrity of that old school industrial vibe.
This sounds like a combo of Nine Inch Nails & Orgy with Marilyn Manson on vocals. In a good way.

Nope I do too. 😁
No, just boring.
No I don't think so

I honestly feel this is the way this was always meant to be sung
Yeah
Allot kids were playing this like it was another hip hop song without reading what the lyric is saying
I course I was one those kids 😅
Im so glad this cover made 3teeth more popular, theyre one of the best industrial bands in my opinion
I like the industrial vibe of this. A touch of KMFDM.
Dear 3TEETH, where have you been all my life? Industrial paradise
I love the way he sings the chorus. It’s amazing.
I don't typically like covers, but this one tops the original and is one of the best cover songs that I ever heard!
When i hear this song my mind goes to the scene at Uvalde. All those cops just standing there while that dude just murdered those kids. One was even casually scrolling social media. All the while those parents begged and pleaded to go in and save their kids. Each knowing every gunshot could have been their child or the person standing next them just lost their child. So many "good guys" with guns and it took a whole other agency arriving much later to take any action. The original version doesnt bring anything as heavy or deep to mind. This version does.

I love the original. It's so upbeat which clashes with the meaning which makes it stand out. That being said, I love this version too. It's tone matches the lyrics and they made it their own, while staying true to the source.
This song sounds far more menacing as a low tempo industrial rock song. I love it!

This is bad ass , dark as hell; however the song seems fuller now! It seems like they was able to capture the emotions of what this song was written for. Very impressed
Tbh I like the original but this darker heavier sound fits it waaay better.
Exactly!
the point of the original song was the juxtaposition of the cheery music and the incredibly dark lyrical content. because we tend to view mass shootings as a media event rather than a horrible tragedy in this country.
@@seraph1337 I get that but still it's too poppy sounding which is not my music style lol.

For all the other kids with the pumped-up kicks, this is the wrong way to clean, way to clean a gun.
I agree with you... *Way to point that out to Everyone*
What to point out next? They’re not six shooter guns?
@@Majoras_Mask I don't know how to turn pipe pistols into high-velocity rail-gauss weapons?
well the video is showing the type of guy who goes into shooting spree in the USA killing random people.
And these people are novices who have an unstable mind who happens to have access to fire arms and goes on a shooting spree. Hence, they don't know exactly how to take care of the weapons...
lol There's a lot of wrong ways to clean a gun, I for example practice the fine art of flushing out my guns with wd40 and wiping them down with an old t-shirt, if I am feeling particularly kind I may use proper solvent and gun oil... maybe.
Moral of the story: dont fvck with others. You never know what they're going through.

I’ve never heard of these guys, but I’m pretty impressed. I’ve always loved how twisted and empty the original was, but this definitely puts the emotional pressure on the songs lyrics. Great fucking job 👏👍🏻👍🏻.
