Not replacing the C Hub Carrier at this time only means that you get to most of this job again soon. The C hub is the weakest front end part and it takes all the stress from motor torque.
Grease on the outer race ? Is that so it spins and wears out the knuckles Instead of spinning on the drive axle. thats not shade tree that's i don't know what I'm doing but I'll make a video anyway
I never said the bearing would get hurt The grease will allow the out race to spin thus wearing out the steering knuckle. If you put anything on the OUTER BEARING RACE it should be green locktite bearing retainer. read my first comment again and this time pay attention !
Same knuckles and same bearings are still on the truck . if u dont like the video move the fuck on.why u on here talking here shit on a old ass video guess u have nothing better to do. Haters going to hate
@@rcgrigs9391 old video or not. These trucks are sold every day. Unlike you and him I am trying to help people by giving good advice. This is supposed to be a help video and if you have the vast knowledge that i have i pass it on.
@@jan-hg9vi who is him a why is it a problem to put grease on a bearing or in the knuckles. They havent wore out the bearings havent wore out when did i put them on 4 years ago i think if you were right i would of had to replace them by now. Smhh
i just got these and put them on.its give the wheels some serious toe in angle. i had to unscrew my rod ends a little to make the wheels straight again. did you have this problem too? I'm waiting for my c hubs to come in. and i was hoping that might fox the problem
RCgrigs hey this might be a dumb question but is there a left or right, or up or down to the arms? they all just looked like the same either way but now in thinking maybe i just put them on backwards or something?

sorry man, just watching your vids....WHAT IN GODS NAME HAPPEN TO THAT EVEREST!!? FRANKENSTEIN???😉😉
Why are you greasing the outside of a sealed bearing? That make no sense.
bearings rust a tin layer helps prevent rust and makes it easier to slide the bearing in place . make perfect sense
plus with using Marine grease your effectively making the bearings water resistant, makes perfect sense as well
lol. not much cat left. ha
