    Homemade Dulce de Leche Recipe
    INGREDIENTS (makes about 1 cup)
    1 unopened can of full fat sweetened condensed milk
    DIRECTIONS
    1. Place the unopened can of condensed milk into a large pot and fully submerge with water.
    2. Set the pot to high heat and boil for 3 hours. Keep an eye on the pot and top up with more water if needed.
    3. Once 3 hours has passed, remove the can from the pot with tongs and allow it to cool completely.
    4. Open the can and see your homemade dulce de leche inside!
    ~~~~~~
    Hot Chocolate Pigs Recipe
    INGREDIENTS (makes 10 one-inch pigs, enough for about 3 cups of hot chocolate)
    one 100g chocolate bar (any flavor)
    2 tbsp marshmallow bits
    Festive sprinkles
    marshmallow bits
    DIRECTIONS
    1. Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 20-30 second intervals until melted, stirring at each interval.
    2. Pour the chocolate into a silicone mold. Top the chocolates with 2 tbsp of marshmallow bits. Gently press the marshmallow bits into the chocolate, so that they stick.
    3. Place the mold in the fridge for 30 minutes, until the chocolate has set.
    4. Fill cellophane bags with a scoop of sprinkles and a scoop of marshmallow bits, then top with some chocolate pigs. Tie the bags closed and enjoy!
    ~~~~~~
    Gummy Bear Gift Jars
    INGREDIENTS (fills one pasta sauce-sized jar)
    2 lbs gummy bears
    DIRECTIONS
    1. Divide the gummy bears up by color.
    2. Layer them into the jar in the order of the rainbow, or any pattern you like! Make sure that each layer is scattered right to the edge of the jar. This will make it look the prettiest from the outside.
    3. Seal and enjoy!
    ~~~~~~
    Homemade Tomato Sauce Recipe
    INGREDIENTS (makes 6-8 cups)
    16 lbs plum tomatoes
    ¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (from about 3 lemons)
    2 tsp salt
    DIRECTIONS
    1. Peel the tomatoes. I like to use a serrated vegetable peeler, which makes it much easier to peel the tomatoes and eliminates the need to boil them to remove the peel.
    2. Place the tomatoes into a large pot and set to medium heat. Cook for 1-3 hours until your desired consistency is reached. I cooked mine for 3 hours, until you can see the bottom of the pan when stirring.
    3. Add the lemon juice and salt and mix well.
    4. Allow the sauce to cool, then place into jars.
    Homemade Pesto Recipe
    INGREDIENTS (makes about 2 cups)
    ½ cup pine nuts
    5 cups fresh basil leaves
    ½ cup grated parmesan cheese, plus extra for garnishing
    ¼ cup grated pecorino romano cheese
    1 clove garlic, peeled
    ¼ tsp salt
    ¾ cup good quality extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for garnishing
    DIRECTIONS
    1. Place the pine nuts, basil leaves, parmesan cheese, pecorino cheese, the garlic clove and salt in a blender and pulse until you create a paste.
    2. Gradually add the olive oil about 2 tbsp at a time, pulsing with each addition.
    3. Spoon into jars.
    ~~~~~~
    Homemade Chili Oil Recipe
    INGREDIENTS
    1 cup extra virgin olive oil
    1/3 cup dried chili peppers
    DIRECTIONS
    1. Remove the stems from the chili pepper and use scissors to roughly cut them into pieces. You don’t have to be too exact.
    2. Place the chili pieces, including the seeds, into a jar and add the olive oil.
    3. Sore in a cool, dry place for at least 3-4 weeks to fully infuse the chilis into the oil. Shake the bottle about once a week.
    ~~~~~~
    Vanilla Extract Recipe
    INGREDIENTS
    1 cup 80 proof vodka (or bourbon, brandy, or rum - whichever you like!)
    5-6 dried vanilla beans
    DIRECTIONS
    1. Slice the vanilla beans down the center with a sharp knife. You don’t need to split them open, just make sure the knife pieces the skin.
    2. Place the vanilla beans into a jar. If they are too tall for the jar, slice them in half lengthwise.
    3. Fill with vodka, making sure to fully submerge the beans. They will get a little slimy if not fully submerged.
    4. Store in a cool, dry place for 8 weeks - 6 months, until the extract is at its optimal flavor. Shake the bottle about once a week.
    5. The extract can be topped up with more vodka as you use it. Just make sure that the beans are always submerged. It should last several years!
    Your video popped up and I'm in awe of the boiled can trick. And I have a dumb question ☺️. You said "something le leche?" Do you mean Carmel?
