new player experience is horrible. face decks are not only on ranked all the way to rank 20 but also on casual and there is nothing you can do without a proper deck
Its k, hearthstone isnt p2w -every player with the best legendaries/epics/and random top tier synergy/rng in his deck (inbf ''but trump got legendary 3 years ago pre mage nerf qq)
Kripp, i'm the biggest noob, build my own decks, love the community, watch all your videos, dont give a fuck about the meta and hate the game right now. I needed to get that out of my chest. I'm a noob just because i dont play enough, i build my decks because thats what the game is about and no fucking one gives a shit about that, the comunity is active and fun, your videos are fucking great entertaining and brilliant way of playing, the meta is just a guide to move not a rail to follow, but the way the game takes all the skill out and makes everything a pay to win RNG game disgusts me. Hopefuly this game gets back on track and fixes itself... if not the community should do something! If not... this game will die... and i will develop something worth the concept of hearthstone! What do you think? Kepp it up Kripp, much love!
kripp I love how you described exactly where I am in the scope of all those who play hearth stone. I began playing in 2015 right around when we had gvg and brm and nax, plus the basic cards that got all our gears working in order to figure out what was the best way to zerg down the oppponent. Today I am in that mid- to expert level of hearth stone. I currently have a decent collection of cards with all adventures up to today completed as well as a pretty nice sized collection of neutral legendaries. I have the complete Reno lock, miracle pirate rogue, aggro pirate shaman, freeze mage, zoolock, secret hunter, and Dragon priest. But I really do here you kripp when you speak on these matters of "player experience".
I been selling dupes since like the fifth grade Meta never made a difference with this shit made Patches taught me how to live and how to maintain Got a Yogg-Saron and craft it on the same day
As I walk through the valley of the shadow of Mages I take a look at my deck and realize there's nothing left Cause I've been smorcing and trading so long That even the warlocks think that my mind is gone But I ain't never crossed a mage who didn't deserve it Me be treated like a pirate warrior, you know that's unheard of You better watch how you tradin and where you castin Or you and your minions might be lined in chalk I really hate to concede, but I gotta go As they lose I see myself on the victory screen Fool, I'm the kinda player that little hunters wanna be like On my knees in the night, sayin prayers in the screen light Keep spending most our lives Playing in a hunter's paradise Been spending most our lives Playing in a hunter's paradise We keep spending most our lives Playing in a hunter's paradise We keep spending most our lives Playing in a hunter's paradise
Been subbed to kripp since about 50k and now he's now the way 1 million it was so cool to see it unfold like it has and yet all these subs and the community is soooo tight. I'm looking at you kripperinos.
to be honest, this is what I love about low ranks. Look at the diversity of decks being played. The taunt warrior and the cycle anyfin decks were pretty cool. At high ranks, you basically know 25-30 of the cards in your opponent's deck. At rank 20, you probably could guess about 10 from the start. Also, late in the month the beginner experience isn't too bad. If you literally have no cards, then yes it still sucks, but if you have enough of a pool to get creative to make some random deck, you could probably get rank 15-10 off of it. The only problem right now is aside from pirate warrior and shaman, you need a ton of dust to make any of the viable top tier decks. You'll win to a point then start getting crushed by legendary cards.
„Problem is, he's got a lay on hands here” Plays Lay on hands Next turn „Just hope he doesn't have some equality n clear or something” Plays equality and board clear.
I have 3 years of experience playing Hearthstone. But I don't buy packs or farm the arena. I don't even do most of the quests because I don't have enough time. So I can't catch up with the new decks and I lose motivation to play. I've been around rank 20 all 2016 and now I have stopped playing Hearthstone. Thanks Blizzard, gonna go play other stuff.
Qwertycal if your not gonna put time then you won't achieve anything in any game. that's has nothing to do with blizzard, just you not having time to invest into the game
I mean, if you can't find the motivation to put time into the game because you get stomped by everyone who has a disposable income, then yah it kinda IS on blizzard.
Atlas I did try harder at the start, but now everything feels useless. It doesn't feel rewarding at all and all the things I wanted from the game, like having a good control deck or getting legend, seem unachievable.
Qwertycal renolock and reno mage are both good control deck. also taking break from the game is not a bad thing. I usually tend to take a break for half of the month from the game if I try hard the previous month
i got a question... who is he talking to when he answers questions or addresses comments? is he reading the twitch chat or what? the chat is way to fast to read, how else do people interact with him?
I've been playing for 2 months and a half now and i am doing worse than at the start. I have a feel for these type of games, i learn very quick, so i got to rank 15 with my own miracle rogue kind of crappy deck last month. At the moment every single opponent i face just blows me away with complete netdecks, i can't get past rank 19 on EU servers. The most frustrating part for me are the constant stream of 'easy' decks. The only thing that keeps me playing is the arena experience, in which i do pretty good with an average of 6-3 runs atm.
So am i and i have 50% of all legends and like 70% of good legends. Never got a 2 leg pack or nothing and had to craft pretty much all useful legs. And i play an hour a day max with occasional skips. So you just suck at managing your resources i guess. Also legs are not all that matters like look at shaman. It's all about the good cards not rarity.
Oh YEAH the rank 20 experience is great man! being free to play, playing up against people with meta decks with about 5 legendarys in it man it is the BEST!
So I just started playing heartstone and I really like hunter, I got faceless manipulator (is that lucky or do you always get it) and the bow that gets duration when a secret is revealed. Can anyone recommend a good deck?
I'm a free player and I enjoy your videos. I also tried arena as a new-ish player and tried ranked stuff and got wrecked and didn't want to play again. Tavern Brawl is all I do. I prefer it because they change the rules all the time. There's no Uber powerful deck out there to destroy you.
20:49 Are you telling me there was NO mage/druid hero power for the W.El. clear, no Warrior/Priest hero power for recovery. That s roughly a 1/6 chance
For now: no. But if they include some fitting cards into warlock the next expansion he might be. It is one of those sleeper cards, that need the right cards to shine. You can potentially play a 10mana direct damage card on T7 with him. Or some Flamestrike-esque boardclear. I would probably wait until april to see if he might turn into a powerhouse. Then again - If you don't have any solid decks yet, it is probably better to turn him into 10 rares that you can use often.
tbh i play heatstone since a long time i would even say close after release but not regulary. i started to play again but i am honest: it feels like everybody who got a lot of cards crafts a meta guide deck and then hopes that he draws good cards and thats it. it is basicly 80% luck and maybe 20% skills of thinking about how to play you turn the most efficient way.
Even in the middle of the month, I'm against netdecks with 35 legendaries. Impossible to get past rank 19, considering I can only make a super budget jade golem deck after a couple of months playing
I just started playing around a month ago and I don't have alot of good cards nor the money to get them and I've found out that I enjoy watching hearthstone more than I do playing it 😂
I’m a low rank free to play player, that also disagrees with looking up decks online, SOOOOOO my experience in ranked is very painful most of the time.
I was stuck at rank 20 for like a week cuz I kept facing those guys with the golden characters. The one with 500 wins. I only got of it cuz I got lucky and did lots of crafting
The fact that I hit Rank 10 and above in the three seasons prior to MSG, during WotOG consistently cause then I was in a space where I spent a little bit on packs versus now when I'm broke because making ends meet and I can't even think of smelling the raw sewage that is sub rank 15 cause I can't even break past rank 18 at best is ridiculous. It's not even a new player experience issue although that is where it is at it's worst. With how the meta shifted so drastically for this particular expansion it feels incredibly pay to win. I get that it's a card game and buying packs for cards is obviously the best thing to do if you're looking to actually do good. But it's never been this bad, even for someone who's dumped a less than mediocre amount of money (
I didn't start playing til the Gadgetzan expansion, and I can beat most of the rank 20 standard cancer decks with cancer of my own. I just have to know what paid-for deck they're running.
if you give me a average deck i can play like a 5 rank because i know all cards , synergies ,topdecks and decktpyes but i cant pass 17 because i dont have any good card in classic or any expansion i dont have advanture cards im trying to make decks with my cards but they are not working pretty well i have legendaries but i dont have good rare or epic cards ( ex. doomsayer )
This is probably out for the obvious, but try to save for decks instead of single cards, I was in the same situation you're at and I saved 2000ish dust and now I have an acceptable warrior deck
NormalMan You seem like a typical low rank HS player. If you REALLY know everything (which isn't even possible) you should just play arena. Based on your awesome skills you should average like 8 wins and you'd be able to build meta decks in no time. On a more serious note you're full of shit. If you can't get past rank 17 with the basic cards then you sure as fuck won't reach rank 5 with an "average" deck (whatever the hell that is)
Kripp was playing around Rank 20 and faced some strange opponents:
2:05 Taunt Warrior
5:50 Probably a Reno Rogue
9:21 Anyfin Paladin
14:50 Buffadin
Highlights:
2:50 4 mana 5/9 taunt on turn 4, value
5:39 Fireland Portal into Bomb Squad LUL
You're welcome
I appreciate the work you put into this. Really.
2:05 You just became skipperino.
5:20 it was infinite maps rogue with shadowcasters.
Thanks for the recap.
I thought every single hearthstone video you make is the "rank 20 experience"...
DiabolicNick damn
more like arena
Apply ice on the burn
Savage
DiabolicNick is that a bad thing?
"Well this is obviously not a great deck" - every Kripp deck ever
Mathmachine Thats not true. Without him there wouldn't be the perfect jade shamn deck. Besides he is way better than you ever will be
Oh yeah, I'm a self admitted idiot, no doubt. But I'm also never one to shy away from an easy joke, especially when Kripp himself provides it.
But his decks are good wtf
Ethan Feng then your a too bad of a player to realise what's good and what's not
I know what is good
new player experience is horrible. face decks are not only on ranked all the way to rank 20 but also on casual and there is nothing you can do without a proper deck
Klaidas B-vas it's really not that bad. I admit it's not great but it could be a lot worse
You think you had a decent match and just managed to get the edge and then they drop their fucking Ragnaros/Sylavanas/N'Zoth and just fuck you over.
Its k, hearthstone isnt p2w
-every player with the best legendaries/epics/and random top tier synergy/rng in his deck (inbf ''but trump got legendary 3 years ago pre mage nerf qq)
blizzard needs to make a new mode, like if you win in the first 15 turns you lose xD everybody plays control hahaha
pre turn 15 reverse mode? Everyone plays suicide warlock
2:42 was probably the first time I've seen Cult Sorcerer trigger Cthun

Another video, another day closer to baldness
Balderino Kripperino you can easily edit that image into a bald Kripp on some cheap editing software. I could do it for you if you lack the resources.
You are back, we missed you
Turns out rank 20 is pretty good
Kripp, i'm the biggest noob, build my own decks, love the community, watch all your videos, dont give a fuck about the meta and hate the game right now. I needed to get that out of my chest. Last time i came this early, my girlfri... wait i don't have a girlfriend ...
last time I heard this joke, it was still bad
wow dude you're saltier than kripp himself, are you sure you didn't mean to address that comment to yourself?
Nice comeback, bro, did you look that one up?
I would've looked up a better one but unfortunately all I could see was your mum ;) ;0 :-)
I been selling dupes since like the fifth grade

Best kripperino ahahaha
As I walk through the valley of the shadow of Mages
I take a look at my deck and realize there's nothing left
Cause I've been smorcing and trading so long
That even the warlocks think that my mind is gone
But I ain't never crossed a mage who didn't deserve it
Me be treated like a pirate warrior, you know that's unheard of
You better watch how you tradin and where you castin
Or you and your minions might be lined in chalk
I really hate to concede, but I gotta go
As they lose I see myself on the victory screen
Fool, I'm the kinda player that little hunters wanna be like

"This is rank 20, I shouldn't be facing any Patches or anything"
Yeah, sure.
Rank 20 in Asia is equivalent to Rank 5 in North America.
Christon Han not in this video obviously
Christon Han in hs its the opposite like when im rank 20 i always face meta decks on na ive almost never faced a shit deck on ladder
Christon Han so what ure saying is rank 20 is tough and has some meta decks in it
That taunt warrior deck looked pretty sick.
0:04 - [Talkerino]
2:02 - boom
5:48 - somewhat reasonable
9:21 - I guess I belong here
14:51 - still a lot stronger than expected
Im too good for the Rank 20 experience
Razarino The Chainerino Kripperino too p2w toy you mean
you filthy capitalist

To be honest, every ranked game i get is below rank 20, so this is interesting.
Stylosa one told me that rank doesn't matter
why not 25 rank.
Markus Tambet hahaha :/
i always play pirate warrior, sad but true. easiest way to rank up with a cheap deck
Markus Tambet you're human trash
hearthstone in 2017 boiz.
Korhan Bicici how nice of you to say that
That Taunt warrior was awesome.
The experience to be in brazil is preeeeeeety bad
Brazilianrino?
What is this shit
>Brazil announces Brazil tour
>*Brazil to Brazil* - "Come to Brazil!"
That first paladin was obviously playing for quest(prob 10 pirate/75 murloc challenge), lol still beaten kripp

I love how team 5 said they are satisfied with the new player experience and the only thing they're working on changing is the win streak bonus
i have a question! What's best or what should i buy (first?) : Dungeons&Dragons or some magic :the gathering things to start the game?
16:54 "Gadgetzan Gazette always gets the scoop"... "Not on my watch!" lol
you survived more than 3 turns,it seems pretty good to me...
Kripp what do you think is a good rank 20 deck to get higher?
„Problem is, he's got a lay on hands here”
Plays Lay on hands
Next turn
„Just hope he doesn't have some equality n clear or something”
Plays equality and board clear.
I feel like the Nyx guy was playing a quest deck that he kinda tried to optimize.
I mean im playing evolve shaman at rank 17 and its always kazakus-patches...
Day9 ran that Anyfin Pally Cycle Deck methinks at a point.
What does the Weasel say ?
Weasel Tunnelerino Kripperino a ringdingdingdingdingdedingding?

I think he reads donation messages and chat sometimes (even if it's too fast you can spot the message).
2.50 can't stop laughing don't know why hahaha

would've liked to see a few more games
as soon as kripp tried the first fireland portals i knew it would be boom o clock cuz it's kripp lol
im a free to play, played for 3 years and have about 8 leagends
So am i and i have 50% of all legends and like 70% of good legends. Never got a 2 leg pack or nothing and had to craft pretty much all useful legs. And i play an hour a day max with occasional skips. So you just suck at managing your resources i guess. Also legs are not all that matters like look at shaman. It's all about the good cards not rarity.
alfa0i0omega didnt say i was good at the game, only stated a fact, but well done with you collection
2 years, 2 legendaries, both from the welcome bundle. I have shit luck.
Ah, that 1st clip is gold
my rank 20 experience...: pirate warrior, pirate rogue, cancer shaman, jade cancer shaman, jade druid... all net decked and all patches and aya. yay
1:18 "See and seek Hurtstone experience". Did I hear that right ?
19:05 his expression XD. He just lost all hope in humanity.
When you put your heart into the game, and are rank 20, every deck is viable.
Nice picture.
purifier purify
14:54 The cycle anyfin deck was Dog's list
Playing since early beta but i like to sit in the 20s...its where the best decks are
Kripp, I play in Asia and I feel you man.. They get their RNG, board clear everything~ Feels bad man..
Can't wait for nothing to change or be announced during tomorrow's "Q&A" from Brode.
Taunt warrior! I almost want to try that now.
20:49 Are you telling me there was NO mage/druid hero power for the W.El. clear, no Warrior/Priest hero power for recovery. That s roughly a 1/6 chance
That last game was awesome
Expecting earth elemental? WELL TOO BAD, IT'S BOOM O'CLOCK!
That first game was really cool, I've never seen successful taunt warrior..
My first legendary was cho'gall #-_-
Any good decks for him? Is he good at all?
I Suck At Math I wouldn't say so. he's not really relevant. but also you know, Google it.
Does anyone know where i can find the decklist with the cycle anyfin paladin?
tbh i play heatstone since a long time i would even say close after release but not regulary. i started to play again but i am honest: it feels like everybody who got a lot of cards crafts a meta guide deck and then hopes that he draws good cards and thats it. it is basicly 80% luck and maybe 20% skills of thinking about how to play you turn the most efficient way.
Even in the middle of the month, I'm against netdecks with 35 legendaries. Impossible to get past rank 19, considering I can only make a super budget jade golem deck after a couple of months playing
Bob You know a 35 legendary deck is terrible right?
Or... what's blocking you is the mentality that number of legendaries= deck quality.
i got lucky in packs and have a full jade druid deck. i played for about 3 months
Those looks like some fun decks
That Cycle Anyfin looked pretty fucking sweet, actually.
on EU-server every 20-rank-deck is a legendary-rank-deck. Its hard to fight only aggrodecks
can someone please tell me what kripp is saying @ 0:55. is it P.V.P or P.U.E? and what does it stand for, please. thank you..
Jessica balding PVE Path of Exile
i think it's always worth striving to hit at least 20 min every season, rewards maybe small but it's worth it.
The last player obviously had to dump paladin cards for a daily quest
I just started playing around a month ago and I don't have alot of good cards nor the money to get them and I've found out that I enjoy watching hearthstone more than I do playing it 😂
I still have these kind of games. It's the 12th, get to higher ranks already!
With this deck as far as I can get in range?,thanks
Finally kripparino knows my pain.
The Kripp experience
Just ran into a full blown jade druid at Rank 25 Wild. Hadn't played wild in a while so wasn't sure what to expect.
I guess now we know :S
Wow, 2 minutes in and no skip
Does someone have a deck list for that taunt warrior?
for me, rank 20 is full of legend player decks, golden hero portraits, and topdecks from RNGesus himself
I'm not a middle player, I get to rank 20 to get that card back and go 1-3 in Arena. Sometimes I win, but I mostly lose.
Why isn't this the title of every Kripp video?
3rd one (pally) pretty sure he was just tryna complete the play less than 3 cost quest with that deck lol
That was firebats paladin deck, wasn't it? His really troll one
i see this "kill my murkocs and at10 they one hit you" deck pretty often
Love this - this is my life - hahaha - I get out of this to rank 13 - still the same crazy decks hahah
On Asia I cant get past rank 25 because I only find cintrol warriors with husticar and gromash
I play mostly warlock now. I stopped playing the other classes and disenchanted all their cards. Warlock is bae
7:57 Gotta love rank 20
Firebat loves 2 play that paladin but they have differnt cards
But it's never been this bad, even for someone who's dumped a less than mediocre amount of money (
The second deck is Reno Rogue probably. Ran into a guy who ran a similar deck to that one... (it's trash)
Actually I got to rank 16 using Murloc Warlock so I believe it's just Kripp's bad luck
I've only been playing for about a month and a half and rank 20 is hell, but I still wanna play it.
Peaches Well maybe you really deserve rank 20
Peaches rank 20 is sooooo easy to get out of lmao
not really, when you play control / fatigue decks without a single gadgetzan card (wasn't active for the last 8 months)
Jade, Face, Pirates on Rank 20
The last time i came this early... i became the first game of war player ever.
Colin Chua You have no idea of what just happened
I might have some idea
I didn't start playing til the Gadgetzan expansion, and I can beat most of the rank 20 standard cancer decks with cancer of my own. I just have to know what paid-for deck they're running.
I would love to see a tavern brawl where you can only use cards from basic
Add in Common rarity cards and make it an entire new game mode.
if you give me a average deck i can play like a 5 rank because i know all cards , synergies ,topdecks and decktpyes but i cant pass 17 because i dont have any good card in classic or any expansion i dont have advanture cards im trying to make decks with my cards but they are not working pretty well i have legendaries but i dont have good rare or epic cards ( ex. doomsayer )
NormalMan People w/o cards are supposed to play arena and farm quests, not try to climb ladder.
If you can't get past rank 17 with the basic cards then you sure as fuck won't reach rank 5 with an "average" deck (whatever the hell that is)
Go back in time and start playing when the game was in beta like the rest of us.
It actually seems like a pretty good experience..
