I love both Billie and taylor. However, Billie herself is the reason for the hate she is receiving. First, it was a really bad idea to drop an album around taylor's release. And even when she did her promotion team has been constantly shading taylor while promoting HMHAS. Taylor never responded to it. Moreover Billie's manager has literally reposted and liked tweets hating on taylor when taylor had done nothing. Maybe it was for the clout to engage more people since taylor is literally the most famous person rn in the world. So the hate isn't uncalled for. Everyone is aware swifties are going to defend taylor, this was purposeful. Maybe she wanted this from the beginning because it led to increase in sales of her album.
