I use a set of four of the original Delkims in all four colours they did then, I think blue leds had just come out to go with red, yellow and green. The blue was so bright it used to light up my bivvy at night. 100% reliable, they use PP3 batteries which are readily accessible unlike a lot of alarms that use specialist batteries and the battery life is fantastic. I got mine in 1998 or 1999 and used some cheapy batteries that last a year or two then put in a set of Duracell's which lasted for 12 (twelve) years! I didn't believe it but they were nearly ten years past their sell by date when they finally gave a hint of going flat. The plus side to that is that you know that they are unlikely to go flat when you are fishing. The bad side is it shows how many fish I catch :(

So can you not use a receiver with the ev or the plus? Only the txi?
can somebody please tell me if the delkim EV has the night light feature on the alarm where it glows in the dark to show where the alarm is. thanks.
I love delkims, always have and always used them, but its time to change the look or make them a smaller verson!
PredatorBites UK I agree I love mine, maybe a smaller version not a lot but maybe a bit . Or some new colours or something.
