I really like how in the actual show the boys initially don't have compound v, and are much more underdog-type characters who have to rely on ingenuity or clever misdirection to deal with supers. Highlights the struggle a lot more. I wouldn't mind if they got it later, but having no real power in the beginning makes the battle much more interesting.
Honestly, them not having compound V is the most appealing part about them. They’re underdogs through and through. Especially after the end of season 2, I think them getting it in the show would be a mistake.
Yup It's basically like the new Godzilla vs king Kong- king Kong battles now without any special powers in the 60's and now it is way more interesting to see how he holds up.
Personally I don't like the dynamic, I'd rather they have powers. Also I hate Hughie in the show not at all believable that a completely beta, untrained, uneducated, appliance store worker could do anything to help the rest of The Boys. And in the show when they take advice from Hughie over Butcher 🤣🤣😂😂 fucking imagine some appliance store worker who has barely even been involved giving advice and actually being listened to by people involved and experienced in actual law enforcement and combat. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 The Boys is a great show but them not having powers especially Hughie is fucking dumb.
Question do they play Thin Lizzy The Boys Are Back In Town in the show? I'm still going to go and watch it regardless because I've heard nothing but great things about it. It's just a silly thought that I've I have
Mr. November strangely... it didn’t show up from what i remember. BUT, due to what happened in the first season... i think it’s a safe bet to say it’ll show up in season 2.
At time of viewing this video I have already binged the entire season, so i can't say what im most excited about, but Karl Urban's performance was top notch and i love the show.
Atomic Owl now that I think about it. Villains are barely mentioned in the series since the heroes became villains. Villains probably don’t do much damage than regular criminals. So seeing villains show up being real threats would be great.

I want to learn about Billy the Butcher because I’m curious to see if Karl Urban was either a great or terrible casting. My guess is that he was the right pick.
I'm really excited/interested in how dark and twisted the supers are, it's not often that you see the supers being the bad guy, especially not a show revolving around it, I'm really hyped
I read all the comics and I LOVED them, I watched the show in two days and felt disappointed. I mean it was good enough to watch the next season but I felt they could have done a better job with the story, maybe I am just mad that they chose to end it the way they did. I thought it took away from Butcher being the way he is. Don't want go to much into detail since I don't wanna ruin it for anyone but other then that a good enough show but the comics are WAY BETTER.
He wasn't the evil mastermind tho, that was always Vought (Edgar and Stillwell) Black Noir was just a weapon, they set him beside his target and told him to wait for the order to attack, that's why he went mental, years and years of watching your mission, pretending to be friends, even fucking chicks together, all the while waiting and watching, hoping and praying for the day he gets the order, its the only reason he exists...... But if he's waiting for the order to attack he's not the mastermind....... The mastermind doesn't take orders, they give them.
I’m excited to see all the characters’ motivations for killing heroes. I want to know what the heroes did to tick them off so much (other than Huey, his girlfriend was killed).
I think its that small number of people that have seen the behind the scenes of who this heros really are, The seven are not trained they are just lab experiments used by Vought to make money out of the innocent citizens that dont know of what is really going on when the curtains close. They boys are well trained combats and know how to do their job . Anyone can take down a superhero if he or she is trained to fight even if they dont have powers . If you strip them off their powers what are they? Nothing
Paladin Fernando It was supposed to be but the end product was a mess of conflicting tones thanks to two different directors and two different visions for the movie
I’m super excited to see a dark comedy action show that isn’t the generic superhero tv show formula. Amazon did a good job with the tick (IMO) and I hope they do an even better job with this show!
sconnor8469 The Deep and Queen Meave most definitely will be redeemed, less likely A-Train. Homelander went too far, and we don’t know enough about Black Noir (in the show). Starlight doesn’t even need to be redeemed, she never turned bad in the first place.
The justice league were on their own not owned by some company . Vought owns the sevens . JL is independent and are well skilled . The sevens are not even trained they are just talentless folks with a chemical swimming in their bloodstreams
I am honestly excited about this as a whole. this show is going to be epic buy because I know how this all goes over, I wanna say I wanna see the development of Wee in dealing with his involvement with the boys and other things I know they are going to touch on.
It’s interesting that the Supes have zero training. It’s a stark contrast compared to Marvel and DC’s heroes cause alot of them actually have training from others or training themselves like Spider-Man
As I've watched the other single character videos, all I can think is that all the characters in the show seem to have got a major upgrade in their likability and writing to pull empathy from the audience. Starlight has way more agency, and Queen Mave is much more sympathetic. Mother's Milk has a good relationship with his family instead of a wife and daughter that are fetishized and stereotyped. The Deep and A Train are both hilariously pathetic yet pitiable. Butcher has a lot of charisma and likability. Homelander is both terrifying and interesting with all of his psychologically complexity. Over all, the comics sound like they are just way more mean spirited and cynical towards its own characters, with shocking events added for shock's sake rather than being used primarily as a character driven tool for their development like it is in the show. I don't mind gore and brutality when it is done well, but I think that this is a case where I will just be sticking with the show rather than the comics.
After I saw the early screener at a theater i have been physicked as hell to see this show in general. I never thought they would be able to bring this story to any size screen... but somehow they did... and so far... WOW!
I like the deep. always thought Aquaman got an unfair rep. Man controls sharks, American's are scared shitless of sharks but make fun of Aqua, find the logic.
I loved your videos on umbrella academy, loved the Boys on amazon and am looking forward to this series! It was surprising they didn’t give the Boys V in the first season, maybe a card they are holding for season 2. Oh and Simon pegg was the hidden gem of the show. His accent is a riot.
Queen Mave, as I would love to see a tarnished version of Wonder Woman (the cheery sweetness of Linda Carter mixed with the warrior fury of Gal Godot's with both being x 100).
I read the series a few years ago and liked it overall but didn't like what they did with Billy in the end, so thankfully the TV series seems to be going a different route. I can't wait until season 2.
I'm most excited for the world of super powered people. Having that many people w/ powers all at once is gonna be such an awesome & scary experience. Basically anything good or bad could happen
I like the dynamic between Huey and Billy the butcher. Both of their personalities exemplify two sides of the same coin when it comes to seeking out justice.
butcher and wee hughie's arc and how it plays out. I read the book and was stunned by it when it came out, it was a top 5 of mine. I also wang to see how the starlight character plays out. The didnt highlight the whole bible thumper republican vibe but didnt shy away from the babe in the woods naive vibe. That scene with her and A train only paired down the depravity of the 7 a bit, i think they shouldve included the way it was done in the story to REALLY hammer how disgusting the group was, but hey cant have everything. This looks awesome so far ive seen the first 3 episodes and hope they renew it because its awesome so far, they didnt water it down at all.

I’m most interested in star light as she is the closest thing we’ll see to a true altruistic hero in this universe
I'm honestly just excited to see another deconstruction of the super hero genre.
I love this concept of explaining this show. I felt like alot of people who don't know anything about this comic
This show surprised me with how great it was! I said "holy shit" so many times
I was in to this show for Karl Urban as the butcher but getting more insight I hope the writing is good enough to carry such a good concept.
Its a nice pace of change from the typical super hero stuff. Dark fantasy/super heroes always grabs people in. Can't wait for more!
