even the info is old, most of the facts are true he select the members that he wanted for his team, he was in charged of everything in the survival show so he have to train the guys and do his task too, he make the original stray kids logo, he created 3racha ( with changbin and han) also such a incredible artist doing rap, vocal and dance, and being the main producer in 3racha ( because he is the only member that does the beats, he do lyrics, composing, arranging and more). i think you have a overall pretty good grasp of him, he is very protective of the people around him ( the members, staff and stays ), he really is a outstanding guy and he has been through a lot in his young life ,sometimes he tend to no show his hardships but he is so open to being there for everyone of the group, he really take care of everyone even when is tired, hopefully you can see the 2 kids room of stray kids his dynamics are so different beautiful, they feel like a big family

bang chan is not the only members who does all of this! do not spread misinformation especially to new fans. all 3racha members create music together, some songs are solely produced by one member whether it be their solo tracks or group songs they created alone but they ALL make the music, and the other 5 members are also credited on numerous songs. chan is the leader but he did not train all the members by himself, they were in jyp training so there were obviously trainers critiquing them and they had their monthly evaluations to find if they were worthy to keep in jyp. for example lee know is objectively the best/mist experienced dancer in the group and he guided everyone with choreography even choreo he created himself (eg the hellevator choreo in the survival show). each member contributes and all the members have had very dark times training. its best to watch the survival show and learn accurate information yourself
I don't think it's a bad idea at all to go through the members individually. More content for me to watch lol. And gives you the opportunity to really get to know them as individuals.

He went through a dark period during his trainee days before Han (we call him Chans first kid because he was the first future Skz member he met) and Changbin came into his life. He formed 3Racha with them. He has said before if it wasnt for the kids, as he calls them, he might not still be here on this planet. They saved him 😭 so you can understand even moreso how emotionally attached he is to them and how important they are to him. They didnt just represent a chance to debut, they are his family.
I tried watching the survival show one time but it ticked me off too much so I couldn't continue. I basically just skipped to the end episodes.
Also definitely check out his song I Hate to Admit... it is beautiful
Chan is definitely my bias because of his work ethic and his professionalism. I really respect him as a person overall and im glad you were able to find out more about him!
Watching you see in Bang Chan what we've seen, and hearing you appreciate even the more subtle aspects of his personality, is so wonderful. You mighty enjoy watching Chan's Room. Over 200 episodes, and only closed down last year, it's another window into who Chan is, and how big his love for the group members, and for STAY, is. Yes - and Sriracha is also how 3Racha sounds when it's pronounced in Korean. They love a good play on words 😉
As others said, there are more up to date intros to Skz that you can watch. Also I suggest watching their survival show. It's very enlightening, and it's Skz's beginning.
The information in these videos are quite old however I think looking at the full group guides from 2022 or 2023 would be a better option. Even though they are long, they have more accurate information. You can also watch interviews of stray kids to learn about the members. They also have a show called 2 kids room. There are different seasons starting from early days and shows a lot about the members individual personalities. Bang Chan is a wonderful human being and it is great that you are taking the time to get to know each member.

The guy that said Chan’s voice wasn’t stable and who eliminated Felix was Park Jin Young (The founder and CEO of JYP entertainment) Stray Kid’s boss. I don’t watch survival shows, because I hate when people’s dreams are crushed. But I was expecting to see Park Jin Young in these clips, kind of surprised to see Yang Hyun Suk as one of the other judges though. He is the CEO of one of the other “big 4” Korean entertainment companies, YG Entertainment. Was Lee Su Man on another episode? In Kpop there are hundreds of agencies, but there are 4 that have the most money, the most power in the industry, and have produced the largest amount of popular artists. It used to just be the “Big 3,” JYP Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and the biggest was SM Entertainment. (Lee Su Man was their CEO, but he sold his shares and fled the country last summer due to tax evasion charges) but then BTS brought their label, HYBE up to a level where they are now the wealthiest entertainment company in South Korea, and their CEO Bang Shi Hyuk is now the 10th wealthiest man in South Korea. So now it’s the Big 4. You may be wondering why this matters, but actually each company’s CEO brings a different sort of flavor to their company which is reflected in each of their groups.

lots of comments about other options w/ a breakdown on each member. I do think you were able to get a full grasp of the basis of Bang Chan's person in this reaction. Of course there are lots of accomplishments that these were a little too soon to catch - but everything you see about him in the future is based on the foundation of his rock-solid, caring, emotionally aware, and musically talented self!
There’s just way too much info for me to do a really deep dive on (though not saying I won’t go there as I get to the know the group more) - as I say the important thing I took from the videos was he is a driven guy who is genuinely kind and cares about his friends 🖤

To give you another example of how reliable and loyal Chan is. Originally he selected 11 people (so total of 12) without Lee know, we, or at least I, only know 3 of the 4 that are not in stray kids right now :
- Yao Chen, a Cpop soloist under JYP entertainment
- Steven from Luminous
- Allen from Cravity
And Chan is still really close friend with all 3 of them. For example, stray kids and cravity are really close to one another thanks to that. Just today Serim (Cravity) and Changbin posted a challenge together (since Cravity had a new album 3 days ago) ! Chan and Allen still mention each other quite a few times, and Allen even took a bit of Chan (and Steven) Australian accent even tho he is taiwanese american.
Obviously I recommend you Cravity, Serim and Allen are a really good rap duo ! In their new album, they had some really good raps, my fav of Allen is in Love or die !
But they are more of a vocal group, so another group I recommend for more rap but less known is Epex ! They either go all out in rap (like Fullmetal jacket or Anthem of teen spirit) or go to a youthful concept so more vocals (like sunshower or Graduation day)
LOVE that you are researching SKZ like this! So many of these clips are taken from the survival show. I highly recommend you watch it all (the episodes are all on UA-cam with subtitles). The stuff they went through during it is insane and, I believe, critical to how they have become the group they are today. SKZ aren't just good friends, they are truly a family forged through hard work, trauma, and passion❤

Love the idea of you going member by member. Going by age might be fun, since Bang Chan is already the oldest.
If you go by age, Lee Know would be next. He was also the first member eliminated on the show. Also known as the 'mom' of straykids sometimes.

Also, for later, a lot of their music videos have lore and are actually tied together with a story line. It can get really confusing. But you might notice a bit of it if you are watching their music videos in chronological order. Get ready. There are alternate universes, and clones/second stray kids. Members jumping from univers to univers, trying to fix things/find each other. Very first one in the story is their pre-debute song Hellavator.

I think there are not many individual guides for the members, there are some longer group guides that are very helpful, if you want videos for each member I'm not sure you'll find recent ones but all of them have solo songs, so maybe you can react to a solo song and a fun video that showcases a bit of their personalities (I don't have recommendations for that, some research is needed haha)
