Thank you, I really enjoy watching you sew so precisely . What is the white tape used for when top stitching? Is it a guide or does it help to ease the top fabric? I would love to know as I’ve seen this used on a few tailoring videos.

The white strip is a plastic strapping band and often used for packing work. In areas with thickness, there may be unevenness at the presser foot, causing the pressure and feed teeth to be less stable than usual. To increase the pressure and stabilize it, we intentionally use this strapping band to raise the height of the presser foot. This is also useful for straight guide line.
