OMG I HATED THE "going inside people" EPISODES EVERY SHOW SEEMED TO HAVE! i found it disgusting as a kid and you know what i was right 😭 I don't wannna see the inside of the human body, that shits supposed to stay INSIDE
omg i have the same exact "eaten alive" fear, and several distinct memories of my own from childhood media. it really is so prevalent in children's media, how bizarre😭
Dude I loveeeeeeee Crashbox it scared me a little too but I still loved it and tried to watch it whenever it was on! But to this very day it freaks my brother out so much he refuses to watch it AT ALL and we are entire adults now.
this is very validating because i had the exact same fear as a child and was constantly distressed by the amount of kids shows with the "going inside someones body" trope. like... every show?? really???? i was so upset watching that wizards of waverly place episode, lol. like i vividly remember the day that episode came on tv and it actually genuinely ruined the entire show for me........ ;-; (also there are actually four magic school bus episodes that involve going inside someone!! - a second one where they go inside arnold but actually wasn't too bad, and one where they go inside ms frizzle that actually was the scariest one imo 😭)
As a kid I really hated Mr.Meaty on Nickelodeon and any other kids tv shows with puppets that resembled or were parodies of humans. They creeped me out.
i was absolutely HORRIFIED as a kid at the episode of spongebob when plankton went inside spongebobs body!! it’s so weird how common of a trope that is
Courage the cowardly dog, Sabrina pokemon episode and the scarface episode from 90s batman animated series. I'm always reminded how dark 90s/2000s kids media is when I instinctively try to recommend it to siblings and then i watch it back and think never mind
as a kid i was weirdly terrified of jumanji. the moment robin williams sank through the floor i literally started crying. my dad said to me "really? jumanji??" like he couldnt believe this was the movie that did it. i was also very scared of the fact they were trapped in a house with wild animals, that got to me. i also really liked robin williams as a kid and he was in a lot of other movies i watched at that time that weren't scary (RV was like. prime cinema to me back then). i think seeing him in peril like that made me scared! i had seen some other stuff that SHOULD have scared me but did not. i think jumanji was one of the first times i had seen cgi peril that didn't look totally plastic or fake. the suspension of belief was totally there, i knew it was just a movie but it was effective enough to still feel scared.
OMG I LOOVED CRASH BOX!!!! the one that always scared me on that show was the "slob" segment with the guy who was made out of felt or something? think that started my germaphobia lol ;-;
My mom wouldn't let me watch Courage the Cowardly Dog as she thought it was ugly, but I secretly loved the show. When she was in the other room or somewhere else I would watch it, however when I heard her coming I would quickly switch to something like nickelodeon. Due to this channel swapping, some episodes I never got to see the end of. It is these episodes, the ones I never finished, that still haunt me to this day. Also I'm kinda surprised that you didn't mention Osmosis Jones (2001) in this video, disgusting movie. Also there is a scene in Brothers Grimm (2005) where a kid is cocooned and swallowed alive by a horse, deeply disturbing.
I had “childhood trauma” from some rugrats episodes too, but it was more of just an overexaggerated fear of mine. The first was the episode “Down the Drain”, which just scared me for no particular reason. The second was “In The Dreamtime”, due to it’s psychedelic themes seen during the dream sequences. And the third was “Real or Robots”. I saw the show a lot on blocks like The 90s Are All That block back then. Those don’t scare me now, obviously. We were all scared of something as kids.
3:13 Haha. The character who falls into the mouth of the worm is called Carmine and it was a ongoing joke throughout the first and second game. It was like a Kenny death from South Park. But instead of him coming back from the dead, it was like his brother in the sequel. But really? Gears of war? I don’t know maybe because my mind was so into this game when it came out.
haha, thats cool i didn't know that! yeah I was only about 9 ish when I watched the gameplay of it and I was playing animal crossing on the wii so gears of war scared the crap out of me
I believe most of the shrinking and going inside episodes of childrens shows were mostly based off of the 1966 film fantastic voyage! My most fav movie ever, and was very influential !!! It's an interesting film, yet horrifying. It scared me as a child, yet its stayed my fav movie throughout my life :]
I liked Crashbox as a kid as well, but I was always absolutely terrified of the Revolting Slob mainly because he would explode at the end of his segment. I also thought he looked really ugly and scary. By the way, I think you're really pretty, but your makeup transformation into Draculaura made you even more beautiful. I also like your Hatsune Miku figurine and your Sailor Venus poster.
4:44 I can relate, being Eaten alive terrifies me... Top fears of mine: *1:* _Being Forgotten_ *2:* _Home Invasions_ *3:* _Being eaten alive_ It's just... Horrifying to me... 8:20 I absolutely love that makeup and outfit~ ❤ 8:32 Finally someone else noticed that... The Inside body episodes of kids shows are soooo weird... 22:27 I'd dress up when I can finally Transition, Closeted Trans Lesbian here, I'd love to Dress up, it's fun !!
omfg that episode of fairly oddparents where Timmy didn’t exist and everyone was happier without him. I think that’s where my attachment issues began bc wtf that’s so sad 😭
You're so right about Flapjack, it's still a show that had a lot of those spongebob realistic close ups😅those were real gross For me it was that one Johnny Test ep where there was a bunch of bugs on his skin?? They were shrunk and the twins were explaining how these tiny bugs just live on ppls skin😵
1. "return the slab" 2. That movie thirteen ghosts 3. the chicken chicken goosebumps book cover (those eyes) 4. angela anaconda 5. going to middle school
A Little Curious is one of those shows that I watched a little bit as a kid, then I completely forgot about, but the characters are in the back of my memory and don't know what show they came from, then come across it somewhere on the Internet one day, & then it all comes rushing back to me.
honestly i loved crashbox (except the revolting slob segment...) but the episode of flapjack where he forces the duck to be his little brother had me feeling another level of fear and disgust
When I was a kid, my parents had a singing fish that sang Arabic songs, and whenever it went off, I ran out of the room, screaming and crying and i legit used to have nightmares about this fish then one day it just fell off the wall and I celebrated it falling a few years later i now know it's rare, and I collect this type of stuff now, it makes me feel sad that it broke, i'm pretty sure my family still has it somewhere, and it could probably be fixed
Do you think the unintentionally creepy/uncanny-ness of the shows you brought up in this espiode, exceeds any modern attempt 'real' or 'arg' or otherwise of capturing the same vibe?
I HATED EPISODES LIKE THESE AS A KID!!! why were they so common?!? i remember loving mona the vampire and on the dvd i had one episode was about salmonella (with cooks called sam and ella) and they have to go inside someone thru their ear and it was VILE i couldnt watch it because it made me feel so uncomfortable
yes! little curious also kinda made me feel a little unsettled as a kid. and i never here anyone talk about it! and i have benn looking for the name of crashbox for i cannot tell you how long. because it scared the heck out of me as a kid. every weekend,my dad would turn on pinkey dinkey doo, nature cat,exc while he made pancakes. and when that ended,a little curious would come on. idk why i was scared of a little curious, but i DEFINITELY know why i was scared of crasbox
Bratz sleepover movie where one of the girls has a doppelgänger and traps her inside a mirror was so scary to me and adventure time deer episode was so creepy I can’t watch it again
Does anyone else remember an episode on Nickelodeon where in the show they started playing random scary graphics (creepy dolls/spiders/etc) on a screen in front of a crowd (I think it was on Victorious) cuz that traumatized me as a little kid and i don't even know if was a fever dream or real anymore 😭
There's a scene in Scooby Doo Ghoul School where an evil Shaggy comes out of a mirror and puts Shaggy inside. And it absolutely terrified me as a kid. I don't know what about it freaked me out so much but I would fast forward the tape when I got to that part. XD
FINALLY SOMEONE MENTIONED CRASHBOX!! For the longest time I've been trying to remember what show that was because i just like ENGRAVED itself insidea my brin 😭I also never realized how much eating alive segments there were I almsot forgot about Mason being stupid LOL (his character... not my fav either) This unlocked so many memories AHAH and for Halloween I'm dressing up at Team Rocket (Jessie in particular) with my friend! It's the first time I'm doing a pair as a costume so its going to be so fun~ Dyed my hair and got face glitter- trying to slay the night :3 HAPPY HALLOWEEN TAMAKID!
Idk why but I remember for some odd reason when I was younger I always assumed that Target and Crash Box were related and it was some sort of promotion turned show, also the sleeping brain and the doughnuts the one random robot would eat always looked delicious to eat lol. I'm not cannibal but for some odd reason I always assumed the brain from crash box tasted like gum lmao.
I recently had rediscovered crashbox because I kept thinking about parts of the show but thought it must’ve been a horrible nightmare lmao but that show was TERRIFYING but somehow me and my sisters kept watching it?
Any of yall remember that one episode of the magic school bus where the orange haired boys head like freezes bc he took his helmet off in space? That scared me so much omg
Never understood why cartoons had a inside the stomach/ body episode why did they think that was a good idea like literally every show had a inside the stomach episode It’s just disgusting and uncomfortable
In this episode: Tamakid reveals her fear of vore :) Also I wholeheartedly agree with Dean being the way better love interest for Alex, Mason is so boring compared to him, honestly Mason just sucks period 👍
I was also terrified of the episodes about being inside of someone, my mom took me to one of those human museums once.... 🥲 I tried to be brave but I started crying in the middle of the visit lmao
CRASHBOX MENTIONED, WE CHEERED!!
I’m so glad. I’ve been waiting on someone to mention crashbox for 10+ years to make sure I didn’t make it up.
My first thought was "is that The Daily Capper?" but I remember oh yeah crashbox
I got one name for you: jumpin Johnny jumble
Crashbox was the shit!

omg i have the same exact "eaten alive" fear, and several distinct memories of my own from childhood media. it really is so prevalent in children's media, how bizarre😭
I’m honestly a bit more scared that something so disturbing is many peoples fetish 😰 and it’s probably BECAUSE of these kids show episodes 😭
Dude I loveeeeeeee Crashbox it scared me a little too but I still loved it and tried to watch it whenever it was on! But to this very day it freaks my brother out so much he refuses to watch it AT ALL and we are entire adults now.

I used to loveee the Arnold episode as a kid
As a kid I really hated Mr.Meaty on Nickelodeon and any other kids tv shows with puppets that resembled or were parodies of humans. They creeped me out.
i was absolutely HORRIFIED as a kid at the episode of spongebob when plankton went inside spongebobs body!! it’s so weird how common of a trope that is

100% the pilot of Courage the Cowardly Dog - - With the space chicken. It was so creepy at that age.
as a kid i was weirdly terrified of jumanji. the moment robin williams sank through the floor i literally started crying. my dad said to me "really? jumanji??" like he couldnt believe this was the movie that did it. i was also very scared of the fact they were trapped in a house with wild animals, that got to me. i also really liked robin williams as a kid and he was in a lot of other movies i watched at that time that weren't scary (RV was like. prime cinema to me back then). i think seeing him in peril like that made me scared! i had seen some other stuff that SHOULD have scared me but did not. i think jumanji was one of the first times i had seen cgi peril that didn't look totally plastic or fake. the suspension of belief was totally there, i knew it was just a movie but it was effective enough to still feel scared.
Dang that’s a d!ck move from dad wtf 💀
jumanji scared the SHIT outta me, I had nightmares about the exact same thing with the floor sinking
OMG I LOOVED CRASH BOX!!!! the one that always scared me on that show was the "slob" segment with the guy who was made out of felt or something? think that started my germaphobia lol ;-;

anyone else terrifeid but couldnt get enough of those MAD animated shorts?
I absolutely despise Katy Putty- Flammable. it's creepy and weird
Omg I loved Crashbox
The Magic School Bus episodes about the human body remind me of Brush Brush Bree from Bear in the Big Blue House, which also scared me a little bit
Bro I love flapjack it had no business being that weird 😭
omg the revolting slob scared me so bad LOL
Same!! 😭
I had “childhood trauma” from some rugrats episodes too, but it was more of just an overexaggerated fear of mine.

mine is the mona lisa, something about her just didn’t process right in my child brain. 😭😭
I haven't thought about that All Grown Up episode in at least 15 years. I remember feeling off put by it because it involved (simulated) body horror.
first part is so real i hated playing through that level of gears it actually made me so sick i had to take so many breaks
I believe most of the shrinking and going inside episodes of childrens shows were mostly based off of the 1966 film fantastic voyage! My most fav movie ever, and was very influential !!! I LOVE THE SPOOKY VISION
As a kid I loved crashbox too but it scared the hell outta me the worst episode has to be the guy eating beans I never recovered from it
I HATED EPISODES LIKE THESE AS A KID!!! why were they so common?!? i remember loving mona the vampire and on the dvd i had one episode was about salmonella (with cooks called sam and ella) and they have to go inside someone thru their ear and it was VILE i couldnt watch it because it made me feel so uncomfortable

The Luna ghost and tar monster from scooby doo live action was the scariest thing to me
This is the first video of your's I've ever seen, what is the lore? Why is the everything Elijah Wood? Ahhh it's scarier than everything else!
i just started the video and the alice music caught me off guard i had to take a double take
I recently had rediscovered crashbox because I kept thinking about parts of the show but thought it must’ve been a horrible nightmare lmao but that show was TERRIFYING but somehow me and my sisters kept watching it?
Any of yall remember that one episode of the magic school bus where the orange haired boys head like freezes bc he took his helmet off in space? That scared me so much omg
I remember that episode! That mess was absolutely wild 😭😭
i dont think anything besides chucky and fnaf scared me as a kid, and a very specific creepypasta called "fuzzy" 😭
Never understood why cartoons had a inside the stomach/ body episode why did they think that was a good idea like literally every show had a inside the stomach episode
It’s just disgusting and uncomfortable
Literally, every children's show had it, it really is just gross and not entertaining at all, the showrunners were so crazy for that
