We live on an island in the South Pacific and we have a hard time finding a church that is trustworthy. We have found a few that are decidedly bad. The Jehovah witnesses have the most welcoming and we have gone there. When following their message in my King James Bible, I haven’t found anything off so far. Our friends say stay away from them though. How important is going to a physical church for face to face meetings?
The Jehovah Witnesses in my experiences prove to be very friendly. What concerns me is they don’t believe that Jesus is the Son of God (or equal to God); they deny His Deity. (John 10:27-30). A Jehovah Witness believes that by their works they will get to heaven.
@@jackleviere3014 thank you. We have concluded we like our witness friends enough to discuss our concerns about their church. I just don’t feel well versed enough yet. They have quick answers for everything while I am pretty new.
You can get a lot of information about Jehovah’s witnesses, what they believe, how to share the gospel with them from Jeff Durbin at Apologia church. I’m not sure I know how to link, but you can find him easily by searching for him on UA-cam with key words. The Jehovahs Wittnesses are very friendly. However they are as lost as a Buddhist, Hindu, or Mormon. IThey believe in a different Jesus, another God than the one in the Bible.) I think it would be dangerous for your spiritual growth to go to church with them, unless you’re witnessing to them. I can’t imagine how hard it must be to be without a solid Biblical church. Prayers that God will provide.

They deny fundamental truths that are clearly taught in the Bible. The biggest heresy is that they deny the deity of Christ. Read John 8:24.
