@@LondonViewpoints are you okay for me to use some of your clips on a teaser ? I will give you credit of course!! Please let me know . Many thanks , Carla
Superb views. That neighbourhood is quiet and suburban but also as close to central London as you can get before you reach busier inner city areas like Peckham, about 2 miles away.
@@LondonViewpoints Interesting, I used to live in south east London years ago, Dulwich and Honor Oak are very aspiring places to live. It would be hard for me to return because of the explosion in property prices in London. Its great you live near Honor Oak as the elevated nature of the local geography provides the panoramic views of central London.
So glad to see Sydenham Hill Wood in this video. It is a wonderful place to explore! We've done a video on Dulwich Park recently as we also love the area!
Thanks Colin☺️I should’ve started this series back when I started my Instagram really but wasn’t that confident with editing suites back then, I’m more now but still learning lots
Excellent work Michael! I believe it was your shot years back of Canonbie Road that made me seek it out (and all the other great spots around there). Many thanks!
Michael thank you for the advice yesterday over on IG. Watched this video and realised I am less than 10 minutes from here as I will be staying in Dulwich with family this week, so will check out the places you visited in this video
Amazing viewpoints shown by you and awesome content everytime. Can you please tell all the gears and lenses you use for shooting videos and photos Thanks Appreciate your work
Great video! Have never actually been to many of these places so will have to go and try the 70-200mm I've got. You're 500mm is fantastic, let's you go essentially anywhere 😅
200mm will be fine, at 500mm as you’ve seen I was sometimes a little bit too cropped but I use it get high res panoramas when I need to capture wider👍🏻😀Glad this video inspired you to visit some of these spots
Beautiful houses on that street indeed but I prefer the views on the south side of Hampsted Heath, if I was to do a video it would be more focused on the area of Hillway road in Highgate 👍🏻
The houses on these roads look nice. The houses look different from each other, detached, and a nice blend of traditional and contemporary designs with quite wide roads. More of London should have been built like this. Instead, what we get are far too many streets where the houses are terraced and quite narrow roads.
Thanks Carlton ☺️ as and when I can I take my kids for my recce walks but it was a challenge to vlog with them but I pushed myself and finally got one done😀
Michael, have you taken your kids to the sky garden, in the walkie talkie building? Its 30 floors up, totally free, has lots of plants, a cafe and restaurant (expensive!) And 360 degree views, right in the city! Or Sushi Samba, in the heron tower next door! Both places have outdoor terraces!
Thanks, yes , loads of cool small bug high enough hills around London for views like that between houses. I’ve been to Skygarden many time , as well as Sushi Samba/Duck&Waffle , just never done a vlog there yet 🤷🏼♂️
Hi mate hope u are well. Happy new year. Just commenting to ask and see if u are well as u haven't post a video on your legendary London bv series and if u are going to make any more as they are missed by us
Nice work. There’s a secret viewpoint at the top of Roman Rise, in Upper Norwood. There’s a view of Canary Wharf (background) and in the foreground you have Dawson Heights. (Similar to the view of the City and the latter, at the top of Sydenham Hill). Worth checking out if you’re haven’t been here?
Nice, thanks for the tip, been to Gypsy Hill and Norwood Park many times yet didn’t know about this one in the middle. Will include in a video about that are when I do it 👍🏻
"Including all the major landmarks"... (focuses on a pile of bird poo on the sign) Ah yes- iconic London bird poo! Nonetheless, great video- will have to check these out!
Thanks Matthew, yes it's the smart HDR video feature, it is indeed mindblowing how it jsut does that live, like RAW video but already edited, i barely add some contrast and saturation to it. Not quite as clean or sharp in 4k so i shoot 4k but most often scale down to 1080 to edit and export for it to be less mushy, but it's still alright for phone video.
Lovely discovering with You.
Welcome aboard!
Holy Moly i didnt realise residential roads offered these kind of views! I'm to used to looking east!
Thank you so much for showing the gems of south east London! I have been living in this part of London for 28 years and I love it!
You’re so welcome, love the views from south London, and it never gets too touristy yet it’s so underrated

Thanks , indeed it is, even considered moving here a few years back but it didn’t come to fruition, but thankfully I don’t live to far away 👍🏻

Thanks Scotty, glad you found this video useful, there’s also a part 2 to this area you may like and nearby another video about Norwood Hill 👍🏻
Cool video! ☺ wish i lived in a city with more high rise buildings & viewpoints. Good photos as well :)
Thanks, I wish the hills around London were like 2x higher, how cool would that have been .
Interesting seeing these parts of London 👍
If you haven’t been you will love it👍🏻😀
Great video, appreciate it
Thanks , glad you found it helpful
Great production quality.

Fantastic video 👏 Spectacular views 👌

Amazing video, keep it up! It would be cool if you would make a video on “The Bishops Avenue” houses, anyway love from Yorkshire 👍🏻

Nice mate! My old stomping grounds when I lived in Honour Oak :P I love that swooping street ;)
Thanks mate☺️ such a cool area, I bet you got to explore every nook and cranny when you lived here 👍🏻
You should know how to spell it correctly then HONOR not HONOUR
enjoyed it a lot thanks

Good video . I like looking at the London view .

Also check out the River walk, accessible from the rear of Sainsburys at bell green.
Thanks, got to check it out👍🏻
Great video! Do you ever consider taking a little collapsible stepladder with you on these walks to get extra elevation? Or would that be cheating 😂
Thanks and yes that would be cheating 😜I do however have a collapsible 35ft pole I sometimes use

Haha yes bird poo is unfortunately everywhere 😂 and that sign is old, missing most new buildings. Glad you enjoyed the video ☺️
Dawson's Heights is still the best location for a city view!
It’s one of my favourites too
A good gofl coourse with a veiw is epsom golf course
Yes it is, great views there, do have a video actually that is in the queue from there 😉
Not Dulwich but Forest Hill....Great views nonetheless
Thanks😀
You should have trespassed into the allotment for the best view
Yeah maybe, but the view from that fence was decent anyway 😀👍🏻
The dynamic range of the opening shots look amazing, is that on the phone??

There a lot of places called “one tree hill”
Ah yes - forgot to mention that in the video, there two in London , the one in Greenwich Park and this one, or is there more ?
Just those two.
