A totally brilliant video and a brilliant concept to present it like that ! Obviously now that you've created this, it is going to be useful as a reference resource that can be consulted "as needed". Excellent! Well done!
5:50 The dialouge, and the truth table on the right side of the screen are discussing/referencing an 'XOR' gate, but the gate shown on the left side of the screen is mistakenly an 'XNOR' gate.
Thank you so much for this video! You helped me to understand this with your illustrations in the video!!!!! I am so new at this and for someone at 46 years old looking for a new career, this really helps me to understand Logica gates. Thank you!!!
Excellent! I am teaching an autistic adult and your video with the picture representation of circuits, truth tables and ICs all in one short video. Thank you very much!
Using the analogue diagrams was really helpful way for explaining. 1:12 But, won't bulb still glow in NOT gate analogue circuit as it is connected in parallel.
Best explanation I've seen so far really helps great video just one suggestion at 5:24 on the NOR gate when you were talking about the A input you had the B input highlighted on the truth table and vice versa but other than that great video
This is a great video, thanks for sharing.... Though, thought I best point out; there's an error at 6mins, as you're explaining an XOR gate with the XOR truth table but it's showing the title and symbol for the XNOR.
I know Ive seen/commented at least 3 times on this video, The Gate converter inverting my output and Not posting it, the delay is about 180 seconds out of phase with the input. Sounds complicated? It’s that 19Mos. Running Transistor/Enabled Buffer provided by ABC as Positive Feedback source. to keep them protected for Rouge Resistors of DC offsets. 🤔
I got my Ham licences Tech July 2015 General September 2015 and Extra in early Nor 2015 I am now re learning everything and your vidio definately HELPED! Thanx !!!
I still think it's ridiculous I've spent four years studying computer science and we weren't taught how logic gates work. "Here's the logic gate, here's what it does, goodbye".
You made that so easy to understand, I flew through the video. While I have an aerospace eng degree, I became very fascinated with electronics. I look forward to seeing other more advanced videos.
Been working with these gates in my digital electronics class for several weeks now. This week we're working on simplifying Boolean expressions. Last week we were trying to make all types of different gates using only a NAND gate as a universal gate.
Thanks ma'am for your amazing demonstration😃😃😃😃. But I would be really more happy if you would demonstrate the XNOR and XOR gate by taking some more time and with proper circuit diagram😅😅😅😅😅😅😅.
I still don't understand how power can pass through the gate with 0 input. In other words, a 0 is no current through the input of the gate and 1 is current input. So if there is no current in, how is there current out? I understand the logic of the gate. I just don't understand the physics of the gate.
Hi Madam , this is great because analog diagrams show actually what happens. Your demo is very generous and very effective and depicts your profound knowledge. Appreciate a lot !
Can someone please explain me this: in the diagram for NOT gate (and also for NAND and NOR) the electric current seems to "choose" the shortest path to the ground trough the switch when the switch is connected, even when there is nothing to stop it from going straight to the lamp also. Is this a mistake in the diagram, or is this something that really happens in real life? Does it have something to do with the resistor symbol that is only present in these mentioned examples? If so, why/how?
What is the logic gate when you wire a 3 way switch as the first switch, after which you wire a 4 way switch and the last switch going to the load is a 3 way switch. Meaning that you can turn the load on/off from any of the 3 switches? As an aside, you may add any number of 4 way switches between the two 3 way switches and control the load on/off from any switch. Thanks for your well presented videos, all your videos are valuable.
this is a good video for explaining logic gates but in the not gates circuits the light would still be on, voltage doesn't just not go down that root because the is another one open other wise parallel circuit would not work.
A bit fast bit good video and explanation of the basics. I would still like to see more examples with different components in a schematic besides a lamp and a generic undefinided "input" to make sure I understand every example I come across. That last section with the chips was too rushed for me.
Hi TheXOR Gate Symbol @ ua-cam.com/video/lXWpWNKwYbo/v-deo.html is showing the XNOR, and says XNOR, and its a common theme for XNOR / XOR on the next minute or so, I think a copy and paste was involved... ;) other than that, great explanation of logic gates :)
If the logic gates etc. are made with SPDT relays everything is super easy. For example if the each relay includes an internal light the conditions can be known by visual inspection. For example my version of the video game PONG consists mostly of four up/down counters and 13 rows of 16 light bulbs. The rectangle of light bulbs takes place of the television screen. Thus its internal workings can be understood with only elementary school education . The game is actually electric rather than electronic.
How the connections are by the practical situation can u telll that am from andra pradesh i pretent u will watch this comment reply me if u see this plz.....that to am passinate about to be an electronics and am studing engineering 1st year ece so am asking u these stufff can u plzz. Help me out....
Best representation/explanation I've seen. Makes complete sense now. Thank you.

Same here. that is why I went for another video came back 😅😂 due to good explanation is here 😂
Thank you so much for this video!
The best video I have ever seen on logic gates.
6:20 For those who want an XOR version, just criss-cross the two middle lines (don't connect them).
Cheers! Was wondering how to implement that one 👍
Using the analogue diagrams was really helpful way for explaining. 1:12 But, won't bulb still glow in NOT gate analogue circuit as it is connected in parallel.
I think it will not, because the lamp has a higher resistance than the switch. Think of the switch closed as a short circuit.
@@silevol But, still electrons can flow in both directions from the node
@@harsh.chaudhari But they won't, because of the greater resistance the lamp has.
6:02 I think you wrote behaviour of XOR not XNOR
yes that was not XNOR, and not XNOR is actually XOR so...
Yea thats what i saw.
Best explanation I've seen so far really helps great video just one suggestion at 5:24 on the NOR gate when you were talking about the A input you had the B input highlighted on the truth table and vice versa but other than that great video

In A Not gate example, why when pressing a switch to on position current flows away from the led?
I know Ive seen/commented at least 3 times on this video, The Gate converter inverting my output and Not posting it, the delay is about 180 seconds out of phase with the input.

It’s that 19Mos.

Comment 100 and this isn’t one.

1:30 why the light is off ?
Fantastic explanation.
But, how can we use this IC to calculate: 5 + 2?
the best explanation and presentation so far thank you mam it helps me understand logic gates
Very nice explanation.... everything is crystal clear now......thank u so much
👍👍
Excellent explaining through electrical circuits
Best explanation in the world, May God bless u and your while family and also future generations
Great video! Love the circuit example next to the truth table.
Looks like you omitted the XOR circuit? You did the XNOR though.
This was a brilliant explanation 😃
This video quality is hard to XNOR.
You made that so easy to understand, I flew through the video. While I have an aerospace eng degree, I became very fascinated with electronics. I look forward to seeing other more advanced videos.
How can I turn logic gate combinations into a circuit diagram?
Can any one explain after the computer converts decimal to bainary then logic gates ate executed or what?
Great video but at 6min the XNOR symbol has been used to explain the XOR gate.
Thank you mam for this great fantastic video. I got clarity in logic gates
I am an Beginer on this and I can start to understad how it works with this way to explain it, Thank you .
if you're inputting 0v then where is the electricity coming from to complete a circuit?
Been working with these gates in my digital electronics class for several weeks now. This week we're working on simplifying Boolean expressions. Last week we were trying to make all types of different gates using only a NAND gate as a universal gate.
@Thawne1338 Wow, this was 3 years ago, but it was at a technical college.
The best Explanation sir.not only for this vedio but also other vedio too.
SUPERBLY NARRATED.
God bless, you have just made my understanding easy.
I really whish your video was ranked higher
Thanks ma'am for your amazing demonstration😃😃😃😃. But I would be really more happy if you would demonstrate the XNOR and XOR gate by taking some more time and with proper circuit diagram😅😅😅😅😅😅😅.
And what are half adders and full adders? I'm sure there's a video on it. I'll search.
Mosfet gate voltage how to chek in pcb
I honestly don't know either i love your very detailed and informative videos or I love you !
Nice teaching method I impressed
excellent showing analog circuits

Hello, may I ask what does the hand sign you make mean ?
I think it's from Star Trek, it means peace and prosperity

Very very thanks for informative video.
Great explanation.
But who does the switch on or off?

Mam, today i came to know what actually gates are and how it works bcz u explained very well... respect. ❤
So basically all gates with a N are parallel and all gates without is series circuit as a diagram
Please let me know what is software used as simulator for logic gates?
thank you

Very interesting, you got good communication skill, good teaching skill, real electronic guru, good orator
it is quit interesting ! thank you a lot, i am learning about logic with big attention
Ready to build it with transistors?
Phenomenal presentation!
This was actually really helpful bridging the gap between the theory and the chip function
I got excited as soon as I started to understand
I subscribed the moment I saw the legend of Zelda in the back

very much helpful
Great explanation 👍
great explain , Greetings to you from algeria
Iam zero knowledge person your explanation simple super madam thank you so much
Good simulation

analogue circuits like the ones shown (no transistors) are usually easier to understand for the newbie ..nice
I wanted XOR circuit 1😪
Awesome explanation. 🙌🏽
