Just offer to pay the difference in utility bills which the owner willing to pay and that will solve the problem. Some tenants will waste a lot of water and electricity when the cost is included in the rental.

actually all this issue is msia gov, never develop the country properly. ringgit weakening, economy and jobs not available, hard for citizen to survive.
usually those earning 12-15k per month range, their annual bonus usually 6 - 12 months. every year can full cash 1 or 2 JB landed no problem 😆. haven't include investment income, rental income and passive income. nor spouse income. 30 - 40 years old. I know quite a few personally. all different industry you feel singaporean money easy to earn cus it's peanuts to them. 3k sgd commission let u earn no problem. their annual income 200 - 300k per person. one couple 400-500k. in 30s or 40 year old. haven't include investment income, interest income, dividend, rental, stocks, bonds.

我在新加坡工作了6年, 交了很多新加坡朋友, 并没有觉得新加坡人看低我或者不friendly. 当然老鼠屎哪里都有,个别例外还是有的. 可是很现实的一个重点我觉得是你的能力和社会地位会影响别人怎么看你. 但是很遗憾大多数所谓"马劳"进来是做蓝领. 不要讲在新加坡, 就算是在自己的国家马来西亚也大把自己人看不起自己人对你不friendly. 只不过在新加坡,本地人不做这些工作你就会幸存者偏差般的觉得都是新加坡人在歧视外劳. 他们歧视的其实是你的能力和社会地位, 如果你进新加坡是做高精尖的行业没有人会看不起你. 马来西亚人也并没有对孟加拉外劳很好不是吗?

马币不争气呀！如果可以回到10年前1:2的汇率肯定会少60%-70%的马来西亚人，到时候就不需要被人家叫马捞马捞，我们的政府腐败导致的。也并不是说很多新加坡人不友善，有一些罢了。

那些薪水高的pr，多数会想在新加坡买屋子。新加坡治安好，教育好，交通方便。讲到住，当然jb的便宜很多，不过来回就要花时间花精神。 Mrt开通后应该会比较好一点。。jb有自己的mrt line就更好！
说句公道话，大家各取所需要去新加坡打工或赚新币都可以选擇，没有人强迫你去吧！会过去的必有他的原因否则背井离乡的那么辛苦干吗？我所知也有许多在新加坡打工每月赚新币过万的从没听他投诉过，最后播主既然如此委屈，下次只要听到买主是新加坡人就大手一挥别做他的生意，那你必然可活得很潇洒了！还有全世界都一样老板与工人很难有同理心的，房客与租户要和平相处也很难的，试问一家人同住都有问题何况生活习惯的外人，不适合再找总有好人的，找不到好的是自己倒霉吧！

我的看法是，我已经可以算是‘老狗’了。大多数新加坡人还是和马来西亚有联系，比如家庭关系。当然，不只是新加坡，任何地方的人类群体中都有20%是非常优秀的，20%是‘烂人’，剩下60%是像我们一样普通的人。但在新加坡，整个社会非常现实，注重你对团体、公司等的贡献。他们在处理人际关系方面比较欠缺。
