The amount of stitches that you know is mind boggling. I love your teaching style and I have learned so much from you. You have made me a more confident crocheter and for that I’ll be forever grateful ❤️❤️🙏🙏
Could you imagine if Crystal wrote a book of all the crochet stuff she has stuffed in her brain. Oh my goodness it would be massive and I’d buy that ebook for sure. lol 😆
My grandmother made me this pattern in the 60’s. It has 10 colors but she made the double on stitch number 10. Thank you so much, so many possibilities.
@@terrillcampbell673 no, she single crochet 9 stitches and on the 10 stitch she doubled crochet. Each row is a different color, after the tenth row she repeated the colors in the same order.
Yes! Perfect timing! I am waiting on my yarn from Herrshner's to get here, so I can start this blanket. I was just thinking this morning, "I wish Crystal had a tutorial for it!" VOILA!😊❤
Crystal I was so excited to see you teach Overlay Mosaic crochet!!! This is my favorite way to crochet! I've made numerous blankets/afghans using Overlay Mosaic and yes the envelope border can be a pain but I do it every time because it just looks fabulous in my opinion. Great job of teaching it!!!
Amazing stitch, you are so patient, I seen this stitch on another tutorial, It seemed complicated the way it was shown, you teach it very well, easy to understand, I’m already getting it. We all so appreciate you & your encouragement, you truly are the best teacher !!! Thanks❤❤❤❤
Crystal, thank you so much for this amazing stitch tutorial. I just purchased a ton of mandala yarn in the color thunderbird. My dad passed away almost a year ago. He loved everything that was southwest and Native American. I am going to honor him by making a blanket with this stitch and using the thunderbird mandala yarn. 🙏🏼❤️
Wow! I've seen this stitch so many times and I just scrolled by, assuming that it was way too advanced for me. Thank you for the tutorial - I can follow this, for sure. You are an excellent instructor.
Beautiful! That’s what I am loving about Tunisian crochet. You can do this without tails. I’ve been crocheting for about 32 years and Tunisian crocheting for about 6 months. Love both!
Oh my gosh! Been wanting to try this! It's beautiful. I have never heard of envelope border. Guess I have to check it out. I have so many things to make that you post. Never bored because you are always posting something! Thankful for you❤️✅️🎁👋🫂
This is beautiful. Such an intricate looking design but it is deceptively simple! Thank you for teaching us. I am going to use this for a temperature blanket because I will have different ends to weave on each row anyway. 😃
I've wanted to learn this stitch for years. I've lost count of how many tutorials I've started watching on it. They ALWAYS make it soooo complicated! Thank you SO much for your VERY well done & much simpler tutorial, Crystal! 😊
I absolutely love this and your instructions are always so helpful. I’m making 12” squares to make a blanket and definitely am going to make one using this stitch. I’ve used a couple of your other stitches to make a square, and they turned out perfect. Thank you very much for another great stitch tutorial. 🙂💕
Beautiful thanks so much for sharing. I just recently figured out how to make an envelope border on one of my last projects. :). I made a swatch of this stitch but in tunisian crochet and you don't have all the ends at each row so that is an option for folks who don't want to deal with all the ends. The colors you picked are very nice together and it's such a beautiful stitch.
I can relate! Me too! It's been a challenging year! 🙏✝️. Hang in there, you sure are not alone! 🤗🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️ We are warriors, not just with a sword but with a crochet hook too!! 😁🤣🤣🥰🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️ (imagine a crochet hook emoticon here as Google is not wanting to enable us in providing it.......😂) That's ok, we will be armed with yarn too!! 🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶😳😬🙄🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💪💪......🤣🙌❤️
This is awesome. To bad there are so many ends to sew in, oh well ,have to have the good with the bad. Have never seen this stitch before but it is beautiful
Other videos of Apache Tears had me too confused to try, but Crystal’s explicit tutorial cleared the confusion. Thank you Dear so much. Who could possibly not like a pattern with no turning. And the lined up design keeps you on track as you stitch. My imagination for colors to make this is flowing 😊
Crystal ! I’ve always wanted to learn how to do this stitch. I can’t believe how easy it is. It looks so difficult. Ty so much for doing this tutorial ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Crystal, like you said, the Apache Tears is beautiful for so many possibilities, including wearables. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow, as usual. And I love those sparkles in the yarn! I can't wait to see what the fb group makes out of this!
Good afternoon, Crystal. You amaze me. This is something else. I love it and will be making it soon. Thank you so much for your hard work and your tutorials. Hope the BOD family is doing well. I have the right yarn for this. Thanks again. Donna 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 I can't wait to start this. It's so easy to do. I'm excited . Thank you, Crystal. 😊
I made a lap blanket in this stitch several years ago, not knowing it was called Apache Tears. I used multiple colors alternating with white, the effect was amazing! It’s a great way to learn the basic of overlay mosaic stitch😊
Love this stitch. I think you had auction blankets in this stitch that were so pretty. Just did a project with lots of ends that had to be sewn in. For that reason I will not be trying this very soon, but I love your tutorials!!
Oh my goodness Crystal, I'm definitely going to make this for myself and I'm sending this video to my sisters 💗 💕. You are an amazing teacher and I truly appreciate you and all the FREE partners ❤️
Great job……as usual. Crystal. I love how you teach. I’ve done this before numerous times but even tho I know it- I still watched as you can never get old.

Hi Miss Crystal hugs I love this. I’ve been trying to learn for a while now the hardest part for me was figuring out where the double crochet goes because as you know, I am blind. Thank you for being such an awesome awesome teacher.

My grandmother made me this pattern in the 60’s. It has 10 colors but she made the double on stitch number 10. Thank you so much, so many possibilities.
Do you mean she did a Double Crochet row on the 10th color? 🧶💖🐸
@@terrillcampbell673 no, she single crochet 9 stitches and on the 10 stitch she doubled crochet. Each row is a different color, after the tenth row she repeated the colors in the same order.
😊 you're so right about the possibilities. I was just thinking of doing a triple instead of a double to make it more of a boomerang shape 🪃
@@TheWovenSoulthat sounds interesting. 🧶💖🐸
@@terrillcampbell673 this is why I love crochet 😊 your imagination is your only limit 🌻
