I watched the series about the sultans. It was a subtitled series from Turkey. It was great to see some of the places in the palace. They built rooms and mosques with great acoustics so the prayers would reach God. Great video. The series was called Magnificent Century. It was following Sultan Suleiman.

I agree with Topkapi palace in that you only need to see it once. I had a guide which made it very interesting, so I’d recommend that. As far as palaces go, I did think Dolmabace palace was more stunning and I’d def go there again, with or without a guide. But if you love history, then Topkapi is a must, even if you go just one time.

Hi guys. How long were u in Turkeye for. And where did u stay. I went to Turkey in July this year for two weeks in South Turkeye. We loved it and loved the food the weather and the people. I have been feeling sad since I got home as I want to go back. And explore other places in Turkeye.

I love seeing places like this, but even before you said it, I thought it - kind of empty rooms. Not much context. When we visited the Popes' Palace in Avignon, it was an interesting history, but big rooms of nothing. I could imagine it was pretty grand, filled with furniture, people, and all their belongings, but even if it said armory, it was just a big empty room where stuff was kept, once upon a time. So, yeah. I kind of get where you were coming from.

Don't feel bad. I want ti go to Thailand but I know seeing one temple would be enough 😁 and when I go to museums and everyone else takes 4 hours I take 1. I see something and move on!

540 min exhibition time daily, before pandemic daily 60k visitors now days its around 30k. People sees nothing cause of lack of time and high population. Prices should be higher.
