I caught my diamond in the day too. So weird to me how different some species are, sometimes it is near impossible to catch them at day(Especially without chumming), but for others it dosen't really matter. The same goes with legendaries aswell, especially Grootslang is active at day and night from my experience(the two most recent times I caught him were in the day). Wonder what the Japan ones will be like on Tuesday probably.

I caught Groot once, it was daytime, and have never had another bite from him at night. I am going to try daytime again.

Yeah, normally it depends on the location but it just doesn't seem to matter much on Japan

@@AaronT-TX Yep, I honestly have better luck in the day time, but some people seem to have better luck at night. The most recent times he was out, I got him to bite really quick in the day time(with a little moving around). And the absense of catfish is another perk.

My friend and I both caught back to back diamonds on the second spot with a float setup a while back. I know the koi are pretty common, but I think the catfish might be the easiest diamond on this map.
