    As a bank fisherman and bfs I go with the shad rap.I also like the Berkley flitter shad when it's windy.I also do well with the jointed shad rap when the water is slightly stained

      HUGE thumbs up to bank guys. I fished a golf course for 4 years AND had a boat and fished the bank when my boat was in the shop. Those pond/bank fish behave exactly like lake fish. You smoke them one day and wanna throw all your sh*t in the pond or lake the next.

    You already know that I like your fishing show on UA-cam and you are a good bass fisherman can you actually tell people Sheridan doors to use in thank you very much

    • @BassGeek
      @BassGeek  3 місяці тому

      Do you mean Exact lures? If not what is "Sheridan doors" mean. If it is Exact Lures I do in this video but there are so many that will work. The truth is don't by into the "this is the best cold water crankbait" or any magic bait. So the best advice I can give you is find a company like pradco or strike king that makes them ALL and learn the difference because they will pretty much be the same across the board. A beaver is a beaver, a craw is a craw. See what I'm saying. Don't let it over whelm you. PS this is a great video Idea.

    #100percentwatchsquad I was never big on cranks in the winter. It's real hard to take that jig rod out of my hands. But the last couple years I've been working cranks more and more. Smaller squarebills like a 6th Sense Crush 50X in a black and blue pattern has been good to me so far this year. Also been getting bites on a balsa Rapala OG Slim with a circuit board bill.

      @BassGeek April 15th next year when smallmouth starts. Chain pickerel open year round. We had so much rain since mid June it kept the rivers way up into the trees. It was hot on the days that I didn't fish. I got out once in early June before it got hot and rain every couple of days. Have a great day

    I have no idea what I'm doing with a crankbait. I do the burn burn pause, and I'm always shocked when on the 3rd or 4th burn theres just a fish on there. Already set and everything becuase the baits moving so fast 😂 Not a confidence bait, but i know they get hit and its fun when they do. Anyone else have a LOT of trout steal these things tho? Where I live they love it more than the bass do.
