- Zara is 16 and has Down syndrome. She also has 3 big brothers in the All Blacks. Together, the Barrett whanau are supporting the work of the UpsideDowns Education Trust, a charity that provides essential speech language therapy to Kiwi kids with Down syndrome. Im a huge Springbok fan and my admiration for the All Blacks and their attitude towards kindness and decency just skyrocketed because of these 3 young men. Bravo Barrett boys, very decent and caring of you!! As for the sister, what an angel and a bright beautiful light this terrible world needs today.

@@MsAmpersand Thanks for answering my question. They are so buff I thought that they were in a disciplined military. I'm not a sports fan so I never heard of them. Sports is quite a disciplined also.
I hope that one day my daughter brings home a young man like these brothers, because honestly I love the way they love their sister. ❤️

What an amazing family, their parents have done a fantastic job bringing them up
After I retired I taught, as a volunteer, at a school for children with learning difficulties. One of the students, Luke, took to me and called me his dude. Luke had Down’s syndrome, he managed to enter my heart as the incredible human he is. That was ten years ago and I still think of him with fondness and am thankful for what he taught me about the joy of living where simple pleasures transcend the complex selfish world most of us call our lives.
Well i hope this lovely young lady never gets bullied, but with big brothers like that , enough said.
I had a cousin with Down Syndrome it was it was very special to the whole family give us nothing but love

My 7th grade teacher had a little boy who had downs. We got to meet him and learn about what caused it. Something that stuck with me. What a great family 😉😘

They're so lucky to have her, if they hadn't they probably would not have really thought about this issue, look how much she's enriched their lives and brought a deep level of understanding to the whole family.... And in that so many others, including us, are benefiting and learning from her too.... It's beautiful ❤️🇦🇺

When I was a kid in the late 50's we lived near one of the few schools for kids with special needs. These kids,without exception, were the sweetest, most loving people you could ever meet. The only time I ever saw any of them unhappy was when other kids bullied them, I learned so much from them and am forever grateful.
