A couple of glue traps could've solved everything.
SCP-6668 TEST: Attempt containment by placing numerous glue traps around in order to catch the the instances of SCP-6668.
RESULTS: Unsuccessful
While the glue traps were able to capture numerous instances of SCP-6668, they proved useless against entire swarms as the sheer number of instances easily tore the glue traps to pieces. Further more many of the instances of SCP-6668 that had been caught by the glue traps appeared to generate new instances from the trapped bodies that are slightly smaller in size.
As well testimony from numerous witnesses state that instances of SCP-6668 have been observed eating the glue traps at which point their bodies would begin to emit a sticky substance similar to the glue used on the traps, which allowed the instances to adhere to vertical and upside down surface as well as cling to prey better intended to be new instances of SCP-6668-2.
Attempts to subdue or exterminate instances of SCP-6668 with unproven methods must now be approved by the appropriate ranks.
