Push-Pull sets are the norm here in Downingtown, PA. P-P sets are used by both SEPTA and AMTRAK - almost all are under the catenary with only the 'Pennsylvanian' trains between Philly and Pittsburgh are scheduled with diesel. The line is electrified only as far west as Harrisburg. ALL SEPTA revenue trains are electric with most be MUs.
